The colors look very wearable but most look dupe-able, except for African Violet. I’d rather go for the Anastasia Self Made Palette- $ 20 less and colors look more interesting

There are quite a few shades in here that remind me of the ABH Self-Made, with a few from MUFE 15 Palette, too. The only thing about the Self-Made one is that the pans are so SMALL! I may get a backup, and I NEVER do that with palettes ?

Wow, you’re getting a backup of the ABH Self Made? Congrats! The price is amazing for the high quality and great colors! I was really torn on the ABH palette, but I have enough palettes for now, but it is sooo tempting….I might cave, who knows

Ulta already had their 20% off everything for Platinum members, ended 10/31. They usually have their sale right before the Sephora one. But the Sephora sale is coming up very soon, so you’ll get another chance. This palette is probably going to go fast, since it’s so reasonably priced and scored so well. At least you got one!

Nancy T Avatar

Ulta must have changed it then, because the coupon I received only gave 10% off HE brands. Hmmm, I wonder why they did that? They used to issue a 20% off everything, even last November….

My thoughts exactly! Picked up Anastasia’s Self Made palette and did a perfect eye look in less than two minutes! So easy to use and nice quality too.

I was all over this palette when I saw it because I love my Artist palette, and I like the look of the shades. As always I’m concerned as to how well it’ll work on deeper skins. Can’t wait for your review! 🙂

Several of these are dupes from the Artist Palette from a couple of years ago. I love her colors and shadows though, so I’m getting this and her caviar stick for sure. Thanks for the swatches.

This really reminds me a whole lot of many of the shades in my brand new ABH Self-Made Palette, with a few from MUFE 15 Palette, too. With the clear exception of African Violet. Me thinks I will just buy the single of AV during the VIB sale instead, since I have been wanting that one for like forever!

I owned the previous LM eye palette similar to this one and found it versatile and of goof pigment quality. I’m glad she changed out a few of the colors on this one (yet kept african violet)) There seem to be more shimmer/ metallic finishes on this one. That being said, I have already purchased this one . My only question is to gift it or keep for myself. I was planning on gifting 2 of the 3 that I purchased, which include Marc Jacobs and MUFE.

Kelly Avatar

So pretty! But the double dipping really bothers me, on this palette and the caviar sticks. I have the Artist palette, which contains 3 of the same shades and a couple dupes, and the caviar quartet (2 of the same shades) from last year. And yet, when all the holiday sales are said and done, I’m sure I’ll have picked up both. I just can’t resist. Please give them terrible quality reviews! 🙂

JenJ Avatar

I picked this up from Nordstrom. I did a few looks with it but wasn’t wowed by it. I also felt like some of the shades weren’t as pigmented as her previous two palettes. So I ended up returning it.

El Avatar

I have the single of African Violet and love it. This palette would be fantastic for someone who was just starting to get into eyeshadow, but as I’m a lifelong addict, I have dupes for pretty much everything else in it!

Claire L Avatar

I like this but I’m glad I bought the LM Eye Artist palette, it’s got more purples in it. This one is warmer. What happened to the black e/s, what a shame it got smashed!

African Violet is so pretty! It’s the only shade that stands out to me, though – I wish there were some more unique shades so I could justify getting it.

Candice Avatar

These colours are so pretty and so “me”. This is the type of palette I’m waiting for from Tarte actually but it’s so pretty and not too out there, very wearble, with something kind of unique (African Violet). I like that!
