Sneak Peek: Laura Mercier Extreme Neutrals Palette Photos & Swatches
Laura Mercier Extreme Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette
Laura Mercier Extreme Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette ($58.00 for 0.36 oz.) consists of 12 shades with six mattes and six shimmers. It is one of the “cooler” toned palettes that I’ve come across. It is new for summer, but it is limited edition. I hope to review in full soon — but here are swatches in the meanwhile.

I was tempted by this palette, but now I’m not so sure. I love the fact that it’s a cooler palette and that it swatches pretty, but I don’t think It’s a must buy. Looking forward to your review.
Meh.. It’s not doing it for me. Its very dupable and I see lots of shades that need help.
Curious to see how this performs. I’ve been a bit disappointed in the LM eyeshadow palettes that have been available here on a price vs quality basis. They run $70 or more here, so based on that, I really want excellence and while this palette sort of “speaks” to me, it really is a selection I can easily get from Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons paired with either their Boudoir palette or the Stila Trust in Love palette.
Pretty, but not original or high quality enough that I think I’ll bite this time.
I really liked Laura’s shadows about five years ago, when I first started wearing eyeshadow again and wasn’t confident enough with it yet to go for really vivid looks, and still think that many of her singles and some of her palettes are great quality for more subtle looks, but this palette is not inspiring me so far. I saw it in person at Nordstrom last Wednesday and wasn’t even inspired to swatch it! It’s kind of hard, at this point, to not already have a ton of neutral shadows! Although I do really like the look of Rock (sateen) and, to a lesser extent, Earth (matte), and Violet Sugar looks like it would play really well with African Violet.
It happens to me frequently , many swatches and posts (various brands) , tempting from online images, but not at all in person… I thought I was alone in the makeup world !
I’m tempted… depends on your review, though!
This really *could have* been a win for those waiting for a great cool-toned palette, but the shades look to have little variation or something that stands out as “must have” quality. Blah. ?
I like that this is one of the few cooler-toned kits (or at least not too warm), and the colors look very versatile (can get a lot of looks here), but I’ve never been all that impressed with LM’s shadow formula, think some shades will definitely need primer or cream base, will await reviews.
I can’t get past the jumbled layout of colors. It looks like a hodge podge.
Laura Mercier eyeshadows is an easy skip. Why are they trying hard not to make it work!

This seems to be a really good quality palette – even the mattes look good. Although the colours are not original in any way, this is probably a winter toned palette to me. However I will be interested in the review.
Cool palettes are my jam, but I count 6 warm shades here. It’s a no go for me!
Yeah, that’s why I said “cooler” as in it is cooler-toned than usual for a neutral palette 🙂
Do you have recs for some good cooler-tones palettes? They’re hard to find!
There are a lot of pretty but dupable shades here, but I’m still interested to see how they perform.
Pretty.
I’m not impressed 🙁
