Sneak Peek: Juvia's Place The Magic & Zulu Eyeshadow Palettes Photos & Swatches
Juvia’s Place The Magic Eyeshadow Palette
Here are swatches of Juvia’s Place The Magic Eyeshadow Palette ($35.00 for 2.03 oz.) and Juvia’s Place Zulu Eyeshadow Palette ($18.00 for 1.14 oz.) are the brands two more recent releases (as far as I could tell). They are both presently sold out but will be restocked in the future. While I hope to review, I am not certain if or when that will be, so I hope the swatches are helpful in the meanwhile.

Aaaaaaaaaaah I’m such a huge fan of Juvia’s Place so excited you’re going to be showcasing their products on your site. While I personally really enjoy the quality I’m curious how you feel about them? Can’t wait ?
I LOVE the pigment of these!!!
OMG! That matte purple in Zulu is blowing my mind! ?
Again, so many gorgeous shades in both! Personally liking Zulu the most. No surprise there! However, I do already have so many super close shades, especially since I have UD JMB Tenant palette.
You are NOT helping ny assiduous avoidance of Juvia’s! The saturation level is def not the same on the mattes, and there are some def misses, but there’s always primer. Some swell greens. Great combos. Nice.
I was doing a good job since October 2016 in avoiding eyeshadow palettes. Saw the look you created with the Masquerade palette and something inside me snapped! Bought two palettes from Juvias Palce. Good Job Dua!
I am beginning to wish the brand divided some of the palettes into warm and cool toned shades as about half the shades are those I wouldn’t use. But still a great range of colours.
YAY!!!! THANK YOU! PLEASE START REVIEWING THIS BRAND, PRETTY PLEASE. I LOVE JUVIA’S!
Really happy to hear your thoughts on these YouTube/Instagram hyped brands. It’s incredibly difficult to find reviews on these brands (juvia’s place, morphe etc) without hearing the same ole “I’m obsessed” etc. I want a review with the pros and cons! I have a handful of youtubers who I feel I can trust, but you are incomparable! Iordered these two, still waiting to receive them. I really like the Nubian 2 and the masquerade so I hope these have similar, or better quality.
Deviating from the topic at hand. I think you are the 1st blog I ever read. I may not always comment but I am still reading after all these years. How old is your blog, because it feels like 8/9 years that i have been reading!? I remember your jealousy awakes eyeshadow collaboration. I hyped myself up for that, I really wanted it, but I couldn’t get it in my country. The reviews that stick out to me, now are the sigma review, and of course the 88/120 (?) palette review; that was the 1st product you ever helped me dodge.lol) I remember when you stopped factoring prices into your reviews as well. Your YouTube videos were so helpful! Your Mac collection reviews were a favorite! Man, I wish you still did them. I purchased Mac brushes one by one because of you! I have and will certainly continue to appreciate your site. I noticed you had a coloured raine code yesterday, I wish I had noticed it before, I would have used it! I surely will next time. Thank you Christine!
11 years in November 🙂 Seems like you’ve been here for most of it, which is impressive and humbling!
Thank you!
I got the Magic palette, and the 3 mattes (red, blue, purple) didn’t swatch well–sheer, stiff, dry. I’ve worn the matte blue on my lids several times over primer, and it’s dry, stiff, patchy, almost impossible to blend, then it smudges. Curious what your experience is.
Unsurprisingly, the dark blue and dark purple in the Magic palette are bordering on tragic, but I like the color and finish choices in these palettes so far. There does seem to be quote a bit of overlap in the warm colors from palette to palette, like you’d only need one palette, two at most.
Bright pretty metallics a couple of the mattes look patchy in the Magic palette. I like the Zulu palette and I also want one of their new blush palettes which are also sold out.
I’m quite surprised, from the rendering of some colors, interesting.
I love all the color the brand is embracing, far too few are willing to! I wish the mattes looked as good as the shimmers, but a brand that can do both well (especially in these shades) is exceedingly hard to do and I think primer can help.
Thanks for the swatches!
Tempting but alas, the product is Made in PRC so I’ll pass.
I love all Juvia’s Place palettes. Shadows are amazing. Buttery, highly pigmented, and price can’t be beat. The blush palette is the best blush formula I’ve ever used. They last over 8 hours.
I’m really liking the looks of the Zulu palette. The matte purple an blue in the Magic palette have me rethinking wanting that one, though.
