some of them look chalky…
i totally agree with you but the bronze colors are pretty
Blue Oasis especially. But the other colors are really gorgeous.
I am wondering if they will be smoother with the use of a primer? Mine arrived today, but I am at work so I have not yet had a chance to play with it.
Can’t wait to see how they perform! Mine should be here in a couple of days.
It seems like my experience with this palette will be the same as the one I had with the Cinderella palette: ADORE half of it, disappointed in the other half.
Actually from other peoples review this one preforms better then the Cinderella. 😉
I LOVED Aladdin, and Jasmine is my favorite Disney princess, together with Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Anyway, except for the pale blue I like every single color in this palette.
The colors look great, especially Rajah and Cosmic, but I’m not so sure about the texture. I can’t wait to read your review!
Yes, some e/s seem chalky (mattes, as per usual), but I’m still liking what I see. I’m a huge fan of yellows, reds, oranges and I’m totally sold. Even the blue shades look good and I’d wear them, which is quite surprising since I hate blues.
The only thing I don’t like is all that shimmer in the bronzer. I prefer matte ones, but it’s not a big issue. Hope the product justifies my excitement.
Wow! I love love love some of them, then some of them look awful! I have to decide if it’s worth it to buy for just some shades :/ Will wait for a full review!
Oh my! Not sure about this palette. Quality doesn’t look so good =(
This palette is everything.
that blush! 😀 need it
Love the colors, but curious about performance.
Some of the shadows look chalky, but they are very pigmented. Intrested to see your opinion Christine. 🙂
Just at first glance, I like 10 out of 15 shades. Thats not bad at all. Cant wait to get it tomorrow 🙂
My UPS man just dropped this off. The colors are even better in person. So beautiful! I bought this as a gift, but I may have to get one for myself…Not that I really need more eyeshadows! 🙂
I ordered mine about an hour ago but now I’m nervous at the chalkiness that others are noting. Yikes! I was most interested in the unusual colors, so I’m sad that those look to be the poorer performers. I don’t really care about the neutrals 🙁
Some of them look really pigmented and pretty but there are a few that look really chalky, not all that appealing >_<
ooooh! Every single shadow looks so smooth and rich! So impressed with Sephora brand right now
Great design on the box, really cute palette. I like that there are both vibrant and more subtle shades in the palette.
The UPS man just dropped this palette off for me! THis one is even better than the Cinderella palette. All of them are so pigmented and the mattes are not chalky at all!
I agree that some shades look a bit chalky, but not so bad that a bit of primer or creamy base can’t fix, as they still look pigmented enough. I’ll still pass on this though, even if Jasmine is one of my faves; there are just too many warm shades, and the blush & bronzer are just wrong for me.
Primer (UD, TF, NARS, etc.) didn’t fix these for me – you’d have to use a base like NYX Milk or something, just FYI! 🙂
That’s pretty much what I ws thinking, something with a bit of “stick”.
I’m wondering if I’d ever use the blues, of which there are four. I love blue, but work in a corporate environment five days a week in which blue eyeshadow is just not considered okay. 🙁
