Sneak Peek: ColourPop Spring 2018 Super Shock Cheeks Photos & Swatches
ColourPop Spring 2018 Super Shock Cheeks
For spring, there are seven shades of ColourPop Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) being promoted (not all of them are new; a few are re-releases). I’ll have reviews soon, hopefully, but initial swatching + application (for cheek swatches) showed that they were fairly consistent in texture/application as past shades in the formula.
Oooo Rocket Science is so beautiful!
I was wondering if anyone had found a brush for these they really liked? I have a couple of them and don’t use them very much because the brush I have isn’t great and I’m not good at applying anything with my finger tips. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I like flat, synthetic brushes like MAC’s 242!
Oh yes!! I’m obsessed with using that brush with Colour Pop eyeshadows!!! That has been such a fantastic recommendation!
Was wondering if any blush brushes you’ve stumbled on you like?
My apologies for not checking for what post your comment was on!
I use fingertips for their cream cheek products most of the time, but otherwise, I use MAC’s 159!
Aww, thanks so much for the replies!! Your knowledge is increible!!!
I use the real ttechniques duo fiber contour brush with the white handle and pink text on it.
Drop of a Hat is so pretty!
Teasecake looks pretty natural!
Just ordered Teasecake now that it’s back. Had meant to buy it a while back, but kept putting it off, then bam, it was DC’D.
Also, I’m now wishing I’d thrown Drive Me Crazy into my order, as well! That shade says “Springtime” to me!
Bardot is such a super shade. When you originally reviewed it, iirc, it did better than most HE dupes. You saved me on that one. Mardi: synthetic angled, Zoeva or Japonesque. But usually use fingers. If fingers were good enough foe Estée, they’re good enough for me!
Now that I’ve seen your swatch Christine, I’m even more excited to wear Rocket Science when it arrives.
Oh, I adore Rocket Science. I might never wear it — those clear lilac shades don’t tend to do well on my cheeks — but it’s lovely.
Bardot, Parallel and Drive Me Crazy look like winners to me!
Drive me crazy is a gorgeous color but would be hard to use lightly. I think Drop of a Hat is just as pretty but probably more manageable for pale skin like mine. Parallel is pretty too but looks too glittery for me.
Drive Me Crazy and Drop of a Hat look beautiful!
Drive Me Crazy! Wow!!
