Sneak Peek: Cle de Peau Radiant Liquid Rouge Photos & Swatches
Cle de Peau Radiant Liquid Rouge
Cle de Peau Radiant Liquid Rouge ($48.00 for 0.18 fl. oz.) is supposed to be a long-wearing glossy stain that hydrates for “four hours.” There are eight shades, and I bought seven of the eight (inadvertently, I had purchased three from one retailer and forgot I had done so and then bought six at another retailer with two overlapping and one missing, LOL!), so here are swatches!

Chenille is such a nice color!
Sequin looks very pretty!
Those all look lovely, especially the reds!
Bugatti Red is gorgeous.
Flushed and Fast Lane look nice! Btw, the column subheadline has a F at the beginning and an A at the end.
While, yes, Chenille and Flushed are beautifully tempting, I refuse to spend $48 on a lipgloss. Especially not with fabulous formulas such as UD Revolution or Nyx Intense Butter Gloss out here. But that’s just me making my line in the sand with these lux brand’s prices going to redonkulous heights.
It’s not really a gloss; it wears more like a liquid lip that leaves a stain as it wears. It’s just the finish that brings the glossiness in initial application and wear. I’m a big fan and use a lot of CdP products, so the price point is actually reasonable to slightly low for their lip products, especially if you consider they rarely release LE items (apart from winter/holiday), it’s a nice expansion of their options. However I can see it being dependent upon comfort with pricing and how many (non-matte) liquid lip products you already own.
Lempinka Red is beautiful, though the price point is too high for my budget. Most of these look lovely, though.
Yikes, the price is ouchie, but Chenille and the 2 reds are really pretty. Maybe you can do a blog give away, to help unload all the extra Cle de Peau lipsticks on your hands? 😉
I returned them, sorry!
Awww, no worries. These are pricey suckers, so I’m glad you got your money back, but if you don’t want to bother with returning stuff, we will be happy to take them off your hands 😉
Love Flushed — very pretty, and looks like it covers well. But like others, these are a bit pricey for me, since I have so many lip glosses that I cannot make any of these a ‘need.’
Lempinka Red is gorgeous!
Chenille is beautiful! Christine, I believe there’s a typo it’s Lempicka Red instead of Lempinka.
Thank you! So sorry about that!
I too would not spend so much on this type of product but I must admit all the colors are beautiful and it looks so lush and comfortable to wear.
They are all so lovely but the price is a bit high for my wallet. I also just tossed a handful of Marvelous Moxies that had reached the “is it supposed to smell like that?” stage. So, no more lip products until I make a bigger dent in what I already own. :/
