Christine, I love the ombre lip you did! It’s giving me ideas to do something similar with Pink Lady, Pastille, and Blanc! I do need to try these. Bite’s regular formula tends to feather a bit on me at the corners of my mouth, but these might not.

These don’t look matte at all, but I like shine, and the pigment looks insane, love them all! I like how you can use Blanc to get an ombre lip look, wonder if I can put a light pink on top, and just come up with my one Panetone color. Blood Orange is beautiful. I have enough red lippies, so will skip those, but could use some more berry pinks, so Pastille look very interesting

Ombré lip! Love it. The Blanc crayon looks like it works very well transforming colours. I’d buy any of these colours, but Blanc is a must!

When I saw the Blanc pencil, I thought to myself, why in the world would anyone buy that? Then I saw the looks in the next 2 photos: Ombré and Blanc + Blood Orange! Brilliant!
I also like the Pastille, just straight up as an everyday color. So, it looks like I’ll be purchasing Blanc, Blood Orange, Pink Lady, and Pastille. Need to start saving up!

I have Pastille and it’s not really matte (but it is gorgeous). However, it’s very well pigmented and doesn’t feather. You can always blot it with one sheet of tissue to make it matte, or blot with one sheet of tissue and, with the tissue still in place, brush powder over your lips. It’s an 80s trick for making any lip matte.

I have Blood Orange from a summer ago. (Still good) one of my most fav colors ever! The consistency is such a nice creamy matte. And so pigmented and opaque!

I remember I wanted Blood Orange so badly, when it was LE based on that image, but I never got it…I hope this is it again. Most results say the pic is actually of Clementine, but definitely hoping for Blood Orange!

I love Bite’s Matte Crème Lip Crayon but none of the colors worked well for me until PASTILLE!! I have 5 other MCLC, the Remix set (and even more Pigment Pencils which I like less but better colors). MCLC are matte, but not super matte.

I recently tried Colourpop and after many orders fell in love with LS Matte shade Contempo. Love the formula. A little more matte than Bite MCLC but their Ultra Mattes (which to me are like painting vinyl on your lips!) are more matte if you’re looking for that.

I mention CPC because Contempo is almost the same shade as Pastille so I finally have a near perfect MCLC shade! I also finally have a proven dupe of current product to contribute to this immeasurably helpful site! Pastille showed deeper in swatches I’d seen so I bought Blanc which does do its job. I don’t need it for Pastille but do like it with some others I’ve acquired such as Frambois. Bite’s pricetag is much higher (than CPC $5, .03oz, I think) but I cant resist their MCLC! The feel, the smell! The overall quality and now PASTILLE! My lips are happy 🙂

Christine, I’m very pale. Do you think the Blanc one would work as an outer lip line cleaner upper? Or is it too pore clogging and lipstick like?
