I got Pearl Flashes Gold – stunning!! You can really see that duo chrome shift, as the light “chases” that pale yellow gold over the pearl white base, can be toned down or applied heavily, looks like a big yellow gold spotlight on my cheekbones, super thrilled with it. I also got Amethyst Flashes Geode–the top layer is dry and stiff, but once you get past that, it gets smoother and more pigmented, but not as good quality as the Pearl Gold one. It’s not really an amethyst purple, more purply pink, the duo chrome flash doesn’t show up well on the arms, but much better on cheekbones. It’s pretty but the formula could be better. I’m eyeing Topaz Flashes Gilt, if anyone has it, curious if you can see the flash to green.

I got PearlxGold and TopazxGilt. I find them both to be hard to blend out, but easy to build up to full opacity. I don’t really see a shift. PxG, from all angles, just looks like a blend of Pearl and Gold that leans more gold, it doesn’t shift either way. It doesn’t have the dimension as promised. TxG is strongly green, I detect little to no Topaz — just some as a hint of a base. I’m not a fan of either and will be returning them. Not impressed with the Light Chaser highlighters, there really is no reason to get these when there are better duo chrome highlighters. I can achieve the same effect from these by blending two different colors together because it is essentially what it looks like. It’s pretty disappointing. But I’ll say that they do give a nice metallic sheen and can be very bright.

Thanks Virginia for the feedback! Sorry you aren’t happy with either one of them 🙁 I will hold off on Topaz x Gilt until I see more swatches/reviews or can swatch in person to see if that’s something I want to get. Thanks again!

I have been holding off on buying highlighters and highlighter palettes. I have thus far been content with the single highlighter in my NARS Unfiltered 2 blush palette – Hot Sand. But now these… wow, VERY tempting. I was interested in ABH Moonchild, but I’m neutral leaning warm-toned.. then I was tempted by KVD Alchemist, but have heard it doesn’t look natural in an every day type of look. These look subtle enough for everyday use with just a touch of something interesting. I may just have to pick up a few of these. I have very pale skin so may have to swatch them in person. Very beautiful!!!

Just wanted you to know if you’re interested in alchemist it is AMAZING..BUT I have never used it as a highlighter. It’s amazing to use just as its name indicates alchemy and altering colors. I find it to be awesome to swipe a color over a similar color eyeshadow and totally change the look. And thing over lipsticks. Everytime I wear it over eyeshadow my husband complements me. Just FYI..

They do look pretty but nothing is insisting that I must have…Add the limited edition availability and nope. Unless I run into these in person and they absolutely cry out to me, I think this is a money saved situation.

I’m so happy you got these for review! I purchased on the day Sephora made them available in the app. The only photos I could find showed Opal flashes Jade as being very teal. Alas, once I received it, OfJ is green. It’s pretty, don’t get me wrong, but I was hoping for a teal/turquoise flash from something in this collection. Kind of a bummer.

Sidenote – if I hadn’t used a gift card to buy mine these would be a total pass as they’re priced a good ten dollars too high.

I’m interested in two colors but for some reason these don’t even look like the regular Becca formula we’re used to…mmmm
