I’m usually not a fan of eyeshadow pallettes, but this one has a nice variety of colors.  I’m not familiar with the Smashbox eyeshadow formula though…

@GUSnail Some of their singles are good quality, but I’ve heard that their palettes are hit or miss. It seems like many brands have this problem; Stila for example (they have many nice singles, but the palettes are garbage). Anyhow, I suggest swatching first, or waiting for blogger reviews. (Thank you bloggers!)

I always felt as though smashbox was a waste of money, they have improved their formulas a little bit for their eyeshadows, but I find they break very easily!

@Stephanietps I never had that problem O: I am probably the biggest clutz and have dropped my two palettes from them countless times and had no trouble.

@Stephanietps You know, I honestly dig Smashbox, but I can’t quite justify their price point so I don’t have a lot of stuff from them.  They’re on par or more than UD with most of their stuff, and I’d rather buy another UD item.

The new palette is gorgeous.  I happened to stumble upon it at Macy’s a couple weeks ago, and the colors swatched beautifully on my hand.  In person, I thought it was a touch better suited for warm complexions, but there were a lot of really great shades in there that would make it worthwhile for anyone.

I have the palette and it is super nice!  The blue and the coral are a nice wash and are super easy to wear.  I love the whole palette but I am not a fan of their primer.  By itself it creases on me in 30mins, when I put shadow over it the shadow only lasts an hour or two before it gets messy :c

I swatch this palette every time I go to sephora! The shades are beautiful & buttery soft. The turquoise & orange shades are my favorite!

I looked at the picture and all I saw were older Nars eyeshadow colours.. pacific = tropic..remember that beautiful colour with the tragic fallout?  Praline = Fez, Safari = Night Porter, Mocha = Mekong, etc…
