How’s your  Monday treating you?

I’m off to spend the next several hours of my life taking my exam for Evidence, which will certainly be my hardest exam (it’s 100% memorization; my other two are open book/notes, so at least I’ve got a crutch!). To help me not fall entirely into a pit of despair over exams, I’m focusing on some of the products I can’t wait to review… (and the fact that after May 10th at 5PM, law school will be over until August!)

What are your goals for the week? I’m really trying hard to stay on task and focus on studying so I can get through my finals in one piece!  I always find Spring finals so much harder to get into gear for–probably has to do with the gorgeous weather…

Eco brushes are great! I prefer them over some more expensive ones. I’ll be waiting for Illamasqua Intense Lipglosses and Laura Mercier tinted Moisturizer. Good luck with Finals! I get out May 21st, I’m so excited for summer.

PS: I’m amazed at how perfect those tubes of You Rebel look. I’ve had mine for about a year and it’s all crushed with the red paint chipping off LOL. I think they should improve on the packaging. =|

Good luck with your exam! I know exactly what you mean about being unable to motivate for spring finals! In my mind I’ve been on summer break for Three weeks already! LOL! P.S., I’m looking forward to your review on that Benefit TM!

My goal for the week is to find time to go to my local Mac counter and buy lots of stuff from Pret-a-Papier and To The Beach (rumour has it we’re getting both this week!). Unfortunately my children will be at home on Thursday as it’s polling day here and their school is a polling station, so I can’t go that day (which is the usual release day), so I’ll have to wait until Friday! :S (I do love them though and I feel like a terrible mother now.)

Hang in there christine, it can be so hard with the temptation to blog. I was in the same boat a few weeks ago. School is top priority and once a mark goes on the transcript, it stays there forever!

Ugh. Don’t ask how my monday is. We found out our water heater is leaking, which means the landlord(my boyfriends dad) has to come fix it. Which means my day off was spent SCRUBBING the house to make sure its presentable for him(the landlord is REALLY a cleanfreak and has made nasty comments about me to his son MANY times in the past, about my housekeeping. And he wasn’t happy that I had animals. but the man wanted to live with me, and his dad offered us the place, so its not my fault! He knew about the critters, and shouldn’t have offered if he was just going to make my life miserable worrying about what he’s saying about me next!) I love our place, but I’ll be quite happy to not have the boyfriends family feeling justified in being that much of a judgemental presence in my life.

Plus, the itunes 9 broke my barely out of warranty ipod classic that i saved for a year to buy! So i had to spend money on a new mp3 player thats less than a quarter of the size, and its still not working yet.

I have a massive dust headache, and i didn’t get to put on pretty makeup today like I’d wanted to wtih my new fyrinnae shadows! I did a big batch of reviews, and demonstration looks with the product and now SHOULD be my time to have FUN with it!

Plus, my happily reviewed Neutrogena wave died after maybe a MONTH. I liked it, but i don’t want ot spend money on another and I’m pissed that its ruined, and unable to be fixed. Waterproof, can be used in the shower? MY TAIL! I didn’t even take the thing in water! Wet the pad in the sink BEFORE attaching it and detached the velcro for cleaning. So WTF was there water inside it after a MONTH of use?

Hope your evidence final goes well! I think that and property, civ pro and corporate law were my toughest finals. Not to freak you out, but enjoy finals before you get to the hell that is the bar exam! Seriously, worst three months of my life. Blah.

This is kind of off topic for this post, but I wanted to tell you that I got the Guerlain Rouge G in Giulette after seeing your post about it, and it kind of changed my life. I have not worn a shade that bright before, and at first I kind of disliked it, but then I got used to the brighter color. I absolutely love it. So, so pretty. I can see why you raved about this shade. And now I am dying to get Laura Mercier’s Hydrangea after seeing your post this morning! Gorgeous! Thanks for posting those reviews!

And you’re right, it is tough to get motivated for spring finals. I suppose it’s because you’re so close to freedom!

Oooh, looking forward to the reviews on the product photos. My time at SBCC is dwindiling down as well, so the count down is on! My goals for the week are to attend the Beauty seminar that my work is doing (through the Facial Plastic Surgery dept.) so that I can learn more about how to protect my skin from aging. I may be 23 but it is never too young to start a good skincare regimen! I am excited b/c I will be getting a personalized skin analysis from a company called SkinCeuticals. Has anyone heard of them? I would like to hear what anyone thinks of them!

You’re probably taking your finals now, but I wanna wish you good luck. 🙂 I’m on the quarter system, but I feel ya because this is my crazy midterms week. Going outside has been so tempting with the Bay Area’s lovely weather lately, but I get stuck inside studying instead! I am craving summer.

And speaking of this weather, I’m glad to see you reviewing more tinted moisturizers! I have oily skin, and I haven’t found the right one.

did not like the laura mercier – found it too red – even though they said yellow based.

Good luck with your exams! I just now. about an hour ago, finished mine! Remember how i said I thought my teacher was really going to bring me a cake, cause today’s also my birthday? He did! He brought two to class! They even lit candles and sang too me! And I got to take the leftovers home! =) I guess for a birthday exam it’s about as good as it can get!

Good luck on the last of your finals. My son finished up his 2L last week and has already started summer session, so I understand the pressure. The paper chase is relentless! Ugh… The US Dollar is embarrassing compared to the Pound. 10 years ago it didn’t bother me as much, but 10 years ago it wasn’t nearly 2:1. BAH!

I’ve been looking for a good tinted moisturizer! I tried neutrogena, but I think it’s making me break out. 🙁 and I would like a little more coverage too. maybe one of those two reviews to come will help… though the Lancome one is very tempting to try… but i shall hold up on the purchase till I see your reviews 🙂 they’re really helpful.

good luck with law studies…..my fathers wife told me….” I wish i never became a lawyer or went to law school, because..its a very stressful job, you bring home your work…and its not a fun job…and the pay is not all that…” LOL…HOPE YOU BECOME A MAKEUP CONSULTANT.! YEAH, any law work….YOU will work your butt off for the money you make! MY dads wife stresses that if you have a stressful job….any amount of big money you make…will not make your life happy! kutos to u ! good luck! p.s. i don’t study law…i don’t want A STRESS JOB AT ALL.

I still have two weeks of classes left! Then it’s exams untill the 24th of July, hooray =P (followed by two months and a half of vacation! … If I pass all my exams that is =P)
