Beautiful, especially that compact! I wish it said Alexis on it because that’s my name lol.
Unfortunately Sephora has a considerable 25%+ markup on the Canadian site. But I would still love it as a gift!
Brush set – $219
Beauty brush – $73
Compact – $53

Sephora makes some amazing brushes both in their Professional line and their less expensive regular line. So I’m not suggesting that these are necessarily poor quality brushes (they might be really good) but for the price, I’d rather buy the individual brushes that I feel I need (the #56 foundation brush – smaller than the #55 that I bought years ago, a few shadow brushes, etc.) – that $175 would go a long way and I actually prefer more simple handles rather than these gussied up ones. Ditto the mirror. I suppose if I carried my mirror on my wrist when I go to the ballet or some swanky event, I might care to have a mirror like that but I just stuff a dinky little plastic-framed mirror into my bag and that’s good enough for moi! Also, while the mirror does look nice and sort of Elsa Peretti-ish, it also kinda looks like someone had their gall-stone or kidney metal plated!

I’m all for weird and unique designs… but… er… that mirror though… I just don’t get it…I’m hoping it just looks odd due to the reflection in the photos.

These would look nice on my imaginary vanity. They’d be in a clear, sleek but heavy chrystal vase. I did say imaginary 🙂
I’m not going to buy them as they are way too expensive for something I’d be slightly afraid to use. I also think the ferrule looks a bit chunky.
I like the mirror, potatoe or not 🙂 I think it would reflect light nicely and I can see myself, again imaginary self, using it to check my perfect red lipstick wearing a silk gown in black and long gloves. I think I may have watched far too many old movies 😀

I really like the brushes and the case for the brushes, but that mirror???? It really does look like a potato! I don’t see myself making the purchase.
