HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDES
I’ve written several gift guides this year, which I’ve linked below, along with our on-going best of holiday 2018, which you can find here that ranks every single holiday product/palette/set that I’ve reviewed (279 so far!).
Christine, thoughts on Sephora increasing the minimum spend for this promotion? It’s usually my favorite of the year as I’ve got VIB status, but taking the maximum discount from 40% to 25% is underwhelming. Very disappointed this year!
I’m not sure what there’s to say? It’s obviously less of a promo for the consumer, so of course my thoughts are that’s a bummer for customers? lol!
I agree with you, Andrea. The things I was looking forward to purchasing with the $20 off coupon don’t come close to $75, so I’ve decided to forget it and not buy them at all.
I printed out my coupon but the annoying thing is that the 2 things I want – the Marc Jacobs shadow that made your list yesterday, Christine, and the new Tarte eyeshadow palette – are not available. I don’t want to end up spending $75 on stuff I “sort-a, kind-a” want and then, 2 weeks after the discount expires, the Tarte palette becomes available.
I haven’t seen any dates for the Tarte palette yet, but hopefully it’s before the coupon expires! But I agree – don’t use it unless it’s on things you really want!
Even though I’m alil annoyed they bumped up the limit/purchased required price. I only wanted the PAT McGrath Bronzed Seduction palette, which I couldn’t get my hands on during the 20% off sales. This made it 20% off so I pounced. Lol.
I appreciate the increase in sales from Sephora this year, but spending a minimum of fifty dollars to take advantage of this “coupon” probably isn’t going to fly for me.
