Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick ($8.49 for 0.15 oz.) is a long-time, popular lipstick formula available at most drugstores. It has a far larger range than one might think, at a glance, because the full range is hard to find at any one retailer–this I’ve learned as after swatching 41 more shades (bringing up my total to 60!), there are 24 additional shades floating around. (I’ve purchased 20 or so–hopefully–from Walgreens.) Here are swatches of 20 of those 41…

Medium, Neutral undertones. Normal-to-Dry skin.

Smokey Rose and Mink are two favorites of mine. I like Champagne on Ice over a lip filled in with lip liner. It is a great formula.

Medium, Olive, neutral undertones. Combination skin.

Revlon has some beautiful shades in this line. Mink and Teak Rose are ones I’d definitely wear. My only issue with it is that this formula Fry’s out my lips to the point of chapping, and I have no idea why. Otherwise, I’d have a slew of their deeper shades and reds!

Lightest, Pink undertones. Dry skin.

There are certainly a lot of shades to choose from, but Revlon’s lipsticks simply don’t last on me and I haven’t bought them for a very long time for that reason.

Very Light, Neutral, slight yellow undertones. Combination skin.

Teak Rose and both the Mauve ones are my favourites out of these, but there are a lot of nice shades.

Fun fact. Pink in the Afternoon was a favorite of Elizabeth Taylor. I was reading about her beauty favorites recently. I might have to try it. Lots of lovely colors.

Did Revlon change their formula? I own several shades (my favorite being Bombshell Red) and I have to say that many of them look a lot different. Lmao, maybe I’ve just been on my computer too long and my eyes are shot.

No, I’m just terrible and always behind and there’s a slight lull in new releases, which is when I try to go back and swatch through a permanent line that exists.
