Rescue Beauty Lounge Orbis Non Sufficit Nail Lacquer Review, Photos, Swatches
Rescue Beauty Lounge Orbis Non Sufficit Nail Lacquer
Going Hunting for Green
Rescue Beauty Lounge Orbis Non Sufficit Nail Lacquer ($18.00 for 0.4 fl. oz.) is a dusty, gray-tinged hunter green cream. The formula packs quite a lot of pigment and is almost opaque in one coat (but the swatches are with two). Rescue Beauty Lounge’s formula is on the thicker side, but they apply beautifully; very smoothly and evenly, and the majority of shades–from my experience–are opaque in two coats.
At $18 a pop, they don’t come cheap, but the brand will be holding a 5-hour sale on November 1st from 11 to 4PM EST. You’ll need to sign-up for their newsletter/emails to get the details for the actual sale, but you can learn more about the upcoming event here.

I read that the latest four Tudor colors were being excluded from the 50% off sale. http://www.alllacqueredup.com/2010/10/rescue-beauty-lounge-50-offsale-coming.html
Should I just cave and buy a few of the Tudors anyway? Your swatches were gorgeous.
If you’re going to buy anyway…. why not? 🙂
I love it! Do you think it would be too dark for office wear?
Nah!
I probably won’t buy this but I love that there are so many greens coming out these days! What a pretty shade.
Avon’s Olive Green is a dead on dupe.
Seconding this. It’s much more affordable, too.
wow that’s gorgeous. I was lucky enough to go to the salon in person the last time I was in NYC. However, I didn’t have the time for a pedicure. But Ji Baek did show me the new Fall colors – she’s awesome. Thanks for the heads up for the sale – I signed up for the newsletter and now I’m waiting for this sale!!!
What a great army-green for fall!
Thanks for the sale reminder!!! I will try to pick up this color, definitely like forest, dusty, greens =)
BTW: I know you may have heard about the Clarin’s 2010 winter collection, will you be doing a review on some of the items?
I don’t have anything from Clarins to review at this time!
I love the shade, it’s very pretty. I love solid colors too. It doesn’t have glitter or anything, just a nice solid shade.
I love Rescue Beauty Lounge’s nail polishes, they’re so good I don’t feel bad about spending that much for one color.
Christine, how does this compare to Recycle, in your opinion? It looks a little darker and a bit more bluer undertones from the pictures I’m seeing here, is that about right?
I don’t think I have Recycle!
So pretty!
I just realized I work until 4 EST on the 1st. And I really wanted Teal. Crapcrapcrap. Maybe I’ll see if I can coerce someone else into buying it for me as a birthday present. >.<
Thinking I may have to check this out and get it! Loving the color
Wow it looks kind of like…dead algae or something in the bottle, but it looks really nice on your nails! It will look great with autumn browns and burgundy 🙂
One of my favorite greens! And the application is smooth like buttah
If I have Asian skin (American born Chinese) then would I be have a warmer skin tone or a cooler skin tone? What are undertones?
Sorry, I’m just really confused.
How does it compare to OPI’s Jade is the New Black?
A lot darker, less green.
I love greens, but I wish this was just a bit more grey-tinted. Oh well. Thanks for the swatches!
Love this classy shade of green …. looks good anywhere, anytime!
