Rescue Beauty Lounge Concrete Jungle Nail Lacquer
Rescue Beauty Lounge Concrete Jungle Nail Lacquer
Rescue Beauty Lounge Concrete Jungle Nail Lacquer ($18.00 for 0.4 fl. oz.) is a muted, gray-casted blue. It’s like the color of the sky as storm clouds start rolling in–a little ominous but still blue.
It’s not currently available, and unfortunately, didn’t garner enough votes in Rescue Beauty Lounge’s Bring-It-Back vote, so we won’t see this back in stock any time soon. On a brighter note, however, Diamond Cosmetics’ Concrete Jungle is supposedly a dupe, and from these swatches, they sure look awfully similar. I’m hoping to snag my own bottle for comparison and will keep you posted.
my thoughts on the formula: These are richly pigmented lacquers that have nuances in both the color and finishes. Each color is well-thought out, and I’ve yet to come across a poor performer in the brand’s color range. I used two coats for opaque coverage.

Love your review anyway! Your pics are always great..
All the RBL polishes you’ve shown Christine are gorgeous and have peaked my interest in them, but I just can’t spend $18 on an nail polish! On e/s or blush but not polish, sigh, I really liked the blue creme you showed last week though..whats a girl to do?! lol
This shade seems incredibly similar to Sally Hansen’s Wet Cement (#37 of the Xtreme Wear line), which I absolutely LOVE!
gawjus! 🙂 suits your skintone suberbly!
btw, your reviews keep me awake during the day when I’m at work. Its a good way to have a break by reading your wonderful and helpful reviews.
The shade looks really classy (and if I were blonde, I’d be all over it :))
I love this color! I really need to try this brand of polish.
I’m so in love with the RBL polishes. D=
This one looks similar to Sea Spray to me, from the China Glaze Anchors Away collection. What does everyone else think? Christine, is it close? It looks really pretty, in any case! 🙂
Pretty different – here is my swatch of Sea Spray: http://www.temptalia.com/china-glaze-anchors-away-review-photos-swatches-part-2
Thanks! After comparing them quickly, I can see what you mean about the combo of Sea Spray and Pelican Gray, too 🙂
Love this color. I’m actually wearing it today for the very first time!
Kinda reminds me of something that came out in the China Glaze Anchors Away Collection maybe this one is more grey or blue but its similar.
It’s kind of a mix of Sea Spray & Pelican Grey!
This is such a amazing color! I love it, want to get my hands on it for sure!
Ooohhh… That’s really flattering on you Christine… Too bad I can’t wear gray because of my olive skin tone, everything will looks, errr… greyish. Every colors w/ grey tone to it will washed out my skintone terribly.
i love this colour, gets me plenty of compliments! its an expensive nail poilsh, but RBL’s formula is amazing and worth it 🙂
This is the best formula, for me personally, that’s over the $10 mark. It’s well worth the $18.
I don’t mind it being unavailable…I can’t stand gray polish. Epitome of ennui!
