I CANNOT master false lashes no matter what I do. And it sucks because I have pretty skimpy lashes and think nice looking lashes really finishes a look!

You must not have tried Blinkies false eyelashes with the permanent eyeliner? They have a wider base and are easier to apply and look sooooo natural. I LOVE them and they last a long time! Take a look here: http://www.blinkiesonline.com

Full sized ones are hard for me to put on, singles are so much easier. I also hate how most of the full sized ones I try brush up against my glasses. (My eyelashes even do if I wear them in the “proper” position on my face.)
I love false lashes. I wear them at least 2-3x’s week. When I have the time I wear singles but strips are so much faster. They do take practice but now I can put them on in less time than it takes to put on mascara. If you’re having problems go to the MAC counter & have them walk you through putting them on.
I’ve never tried to wear false lashes…how do you get them off? I’m afraid to stick them on my real lashes and end up losing my real lashes lol
The glue is kind of flexible and removes easily. You attach them to the lid right above your real lashes. The glue doesn’t pull your real lashes out at all. There are hard glues, but I wouldn’t suggest them. The best kind I’ve found is duo.
hate!! I don’t know how to use it and it looks so hard and unhealthy for your lashes!

I love wearing them but they tear my lashes apart if I’m not care. I don’t pull my lashes out but If i can’t get all the lash glue off my eyelashes have a hard time recovering.
I love love love false lashes! I wear them almost every day will no ill effects. My natural lashes are actually more full since I’ve started with the falsies again because I wear less mascara. I am in love with the ardell demi whispies. There’s a few other brands of clear band demi whispies which are also great. Just natural enough, but very noticeable and bold.
I’ve actually never used fake lashes, ahaha.
I hate the way that they feel on your eyes. They feel heavy.
I dont wear false eyelashes at all! They are a hassle and they and make my eyes feel heavy (and for an insomniac, having heavy eyelids during the day isnt ideal)
I love the way they looked when they are properly applied, but I just haven’t figured out how to do it myself. So frustrating! I want to keep trying, but they can be so discouraging. And everyone makes it sound so easy…
I really want to try false lashes but I’m afraid that I’ll fall in love and have to wear them all the time. Also I’m only 14 so I don’t want to seem too fake…
You could try some wispies or individuals on the outer half of your eye, instead of wearing full/dramatic falsies.
I generally hate false lashes. I’ve never gotten them to work for me because I’m allergic to most glues, so they make my eyes itch and water like crazy. And then because they’re watering, I can’t get them to stay on my eyes. It’s just really not worth the trouble. Can’t wear fake nails because of the glue either!
I love falsies. I have short stumpy lashes, and they really add a nice punch to every look that I do. Adriell has some nice lashes, and I think they can be easier to handle than MAC lashes for beginners.
I don’t give myself a chance at learning how to put them on, I just go get them professionally done at the salon, I live in N.Y. and we have a salon on just about every block so its convenient for me, but yes I love wearing falsie they make my eyes more defined.
I absolutely love them on. My lashes are not bad but I get so much more oomph with falsies. This post reminds me that I need to practice putting them on this summer and hopefully become a pro at it!
I hate that I can’t figure out how to put them on
LOVE:
– fuller lashes while using less mascara therefore less to take off
– the good days where it takes me 3 mins to do it
– criss-cross ones
– cheap lashes such as those from Daiso
– DUO GLUE DUO GLUE DUO GLUE!
HATE:
– removing mascara and glue off the falsies to reuse
– the bad days where the glue gets everywhere and after half an hour i still can’t do it
– ones where the lash band is super thin
– sometimes when the lash near the inner corner of your eye pokes your eye

I always tend to shake when I put them on. I have to psych myself out to calm down before putting them on 😉 Otherwise, I love the look of super long feathery like winged out lashes on myself. I don’t like short lashes or plasticky looking lashes. Short lashes can work well for those with smaller eyes though.
i would love false eyelashes, but i can’t apply them. you always see s little space between the falsies and my own lashes and that looks awful.
i LOVE false lashes! i have one double eyelid and one monolid, so i’m always really cautious about my eyes. When i wear false lashes, my monolid becomes a double lid and my eyes become the same size! false lashes are my savior 🙂
I am deeply in love with the effect false eyelashes have (esp on my small eyes). It makes my eyes pop instantly with the correct type/style of falsies. However, I hate removing them.
i can always tell when someone is wearing fake lashes…i prefer the natural look, so it’s not my thing.
I actually applied fake lashes successfully for the first time this weekend and they were great!! Just the little extra omph my look needed to glam it up, and it was on 3.98 for the pair of revlon flirty lashes with a small tube of glue. Its totally worth the extra time!
There a pain to put on, but once you get them on right you can look fabulous with them.
Hate them. I don’t have really long lashes, but don’t like the look on myself. Too harsh. I rather play up other features of my eyes, like their shape.
I think they are cute but I’ve never worn them because I have issues putting them on. I will keep trying though.

but sometimes the glue makes my eyes water
i love them, and they dont rip your real eyelashes out at all, i dont know what glue other people are using, but i have never used a single glue that ripped my eyelashes out!
Right? My glue removes easily from my eyelashes too, not that much gets into them as you only need a THIN thin line of it in the falsies. You just rub your finger over any residue and then peel it off and it comes off in a stretchy sting. Same goes for removing glue from the falsies after you take them off, it comes off very easily.
No need for false eyelashes. Last time I was in a MAC store the MA asked if I was wearing falsies. I wasn’t even wearing mascara! 😀

Oh, I agree! 🙂 Pretty sure I’d be terrible at it though. Anything involving glue and precision work is lost on me. LOL
I LOVE false lashes! I’m good appling them on me and on another people, I use them almost every day! They are like my personal touch!
I love false eyelashes. My favorite ones to wear are my Shu Uemera false lashes in Lux black. Even though they are prices, I cut these full strip lashes in half and use them as demi-lashes for the outer corners of my eyes. My only complaint with these lashes is that if I am too agressive with removing the adhesive in cleaning them, I end up pulling the binding that holds the lash hairs together.
I love the full strip lashes from Ardell, but my eyes tear up with allergies. My tears eat away at my duo adhesive glue, causing my lashes in the inner corner to lift. No matter how much glue I put on that inner corner, it will lift.
I just love, love, love my Model 21 false eyelashes! My makeup is not completed without them!!
PROS:
– love the glam look
– love the thick lash look
– love the sultry eye look
– love the vintage take on wearing them
CONS:
– I have long eyelashes thanks to Latisse, so now I don’t really need them now
– My boyfriend will make a face when I wear them, he thinks its too “fake”
– They always start to unstick in the inner eye
OR
– when they unstick period!
– when they ruin the makeup you already have on, if the glue is not tacky enough
– when they don’t do what they are supposed to do PERIOD!
I love wearing fake lashes. I use Duo lash glue. Then I use Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover to take them off.
Can someone tell me the difference between real hair lashes and synthetic hair lashes. Besides the obvious.

I LOVE them, i have lash extentions, they are single lashes placed all along your own lashes. I go to a lash salon and have then done. I get them refilled every three weeks. Ive had them on for the last 8 months, and LOVE LOVE LOVE them.
i just tried some for the second time and I almost mastered i t:) a little more practice and then I will be set. I am loving the MODLASH 21 they are very natural looking
I personally love MUFE’s falsies! Last summer, I had never used them before (or any brand’s) and managed to apply them within a few minutes and I had no issues keeping them on for 12+ hours…and I was at a concert with no air conditioning! If I had the money, I would wear them everyday.
I like to use individual lashes, just a few of them on the outercorner to underline my cateye but I have a real problem with classic false lashes as they tend to NEVER stick to my lid in the inner corner. NERVER, I really tried all kind of glues but it doesn’t help
I picked up a cheap pair but haven’t gotten around to trying them out yet. It’s weird, the lashes on the inner half of my eye are very thin, but the ones on the outer are pretty plush so I think the lashes, or half-lashes just wouldn’t do it for me, would be backwards.
OMG! i LOVE false eyelashes! MAC lashes might be pricy for some people, but they are fantastic. especially the #7s (: but for everyday usage i like the “red cherry” lashes. they are very compareable and have a large variety. i use #600, and 82 the most. But you really do need to fit them to your eye size and practice to you can make em perfect. overall its a must in my makeup routine! (:
I use to hate false eyelashes, but I’ve changed my tune. My biggest issue was putting them on…and then getting them to stick. I think that I have finally solved that problem. I ran into a site that only sells DUO eyelash glue (http://www.eyelashgluehq.com – not spam, just a satisfied customer and I’m sure you can find it at most beauty stores, pretty sure MAC sells it to) so I bought some. I love the stuff, I really do. It is so much better than the crappy glue that usually comes with false eyelashes. I think the biggest thing is to put the glue on the strip then let it set for about 30 seconds. I love wearing them because they can transform your eyes in so many ways. I love falsies now. Who would have known that the glue was the difference maker.
