Pat McGrath Lip Fetish Sheer Colour Balms
Dark Devotion looks beautiful, but a $38 lip balm is not something I need right now. (At least until I use up my Dior Lip Glow!)
So the description says pearlescent — are they glossy or pearlescent? Or both? I love the effect of balm on my lips, but I want them to be satin or velvet, and they’re inevitably glossy. I know that hydrating ingredients are often glossy, but I have colorless lip balms that are matte. *That’s* what I want — matte pigmented balms!
Sorry, that was a bit of a side rant.
If these weren’t glossy, I’d seriously consider them for their potential as a hydrating sheer lipstick, since I really like the PMcG lipsticks I already own.
I’m eyeing 2 potential contenders above: Wild Cherry and Flesh 3. This, just going off how they look swatched. Id really rather wait for more feedback on them and see reviews of them before I jump, though. If they have at least a 3 hour wear time and/or stain, then I am game.
There’s some poor intern working at PMG Labs whose main job is adjectives and alliteration. I’d like to know what makes a red ‘reformed’ and ‘raucus’, personally
I will be looking forward to your reviews on these!
$38.00 for lip balm? Pass.
Super cute but I’m not spending $38 on a lip balm
I wish it didn’t cost so much to shop ant that I didn’t have to pay the tax for whatever product I buy from the US! If I didn’t have to do any of the aforementioned payments I’d buy two of these, Dark Devotion and Wild Cherry. I also really like Full Fantasy and Ultra Vixen.
I am very curious to see what they will look like! If they are glossy it might be nice to replace a lip gloss. I am really over matte or semi matte formula which dry my lips. I oven top them with a more hydrating formula and that is perfect (as I get the best of both world)
If those balm prove to be nicely pigmented I will most definitely grab a few!
They look pretty, but I can’t justify spending $38 on a color balm when there are things like the L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine lipsticks and the Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lip Colors on the market for 1/5 of the price.
CAN’T WAIT TO SWATCH THESE AT SEPHORA.
