I’m not impressed. The usual warm tones with a couple of jeweled-toned mattes.
I only like the shimmer lavender so I’ll wait to check dupes for it. My wallet is safe this year! ☺️
Agree completely!
The swatches look great, as they almost always do with Pat’s palettes, but between her existing offerings and my Sydney Grace singles I have all these colors including the green and blue I’m my stash in multiple options. I’ll be skipping this palette for sure. I’m mildly interested in the 5 pans, but they might be a skip as well, simply because I’ve got it all from Pat already.
Okay, so I AM very much relieved that this is much more colorful than her usual pink, gold, repeat. Problem is, I feel like I already have these shades covered fully, and with much more solid quality, in both your trio of SG collab palettes as well as several other palettes I own. These swatches just may have saved me 80 something dwollahs!
This looks fun! It’s nice to see colorful mattes from PMG. But I also look at this color story and don’t know what to do with it.
This looks really pretty. It’s nice to see something colorful for the holidays. I’ll probably pick it up if it goes on sale.
This is $107 in Canada. If there weren’t 4 or 5 colours I don’t wear and don’t like (Genevieve probably knows which ones – all those red and pink shades – I might actually purchase this. But as is almost always the case with PMG palettes, there are just too many colours I don’t like so this wouldn’t be a wise purchase for me.
Hmmm – still quite a few pinks/reds and pastel shades. There are some lovely shades here though -Pat does the bronze shades much to my liking – Heavenly Bronze, Bronze Infatuation, Starlit Copper and Gilty Opulence are really the only shades I would wear from here.
Same here, though I would also try to use Aquarian Dream under my lower lashes for a hit of colour (that’s if I had been given this palette and wanted to try to make better use of it).
Im so very, very thankful for the swatches. I would buy this palette because it looks beautiful but the swatches really help me determine how it might look on the eye. I won’t be buying this because the swatching did not excite or impress me. The palette is still gorgeous but I definitely don’t need it.
Colorful mattes from Pat finally. Too little too late I’m afraid. I was thinking on this love the price of these palettes. I bought the first one but have never used it and I probably have all these shades. I like they have a shimmer pairing and esp like how Christine showed the colors together.
I love all the non-colourful options.. which is probably why I never seem to be interested in PMG Mega palettes. As Celesta mentioned, you look at this palette and it feels all over the place. So it’s definitely a grab for a specific add-on shade which is weird to haul out a massive palette for one shade. Still,. I’m with Genevieve as well.. the bronze shades are super duper gorgeous and I would reach for those often. I’m tempted a bit by this palette as a result, but…. Pondering if it is a good choice or wait for the 5 pan and see what they are like.
I know I shouldn’t, but Violet Vixen is selling this palette for me. I’ll wait for a sale since I am good on makeup; indie singles I can easily store, but I want to stray away from big palettes. I notice that people give PML so much pushback on her releases, but brands like Charlotte Tilbury, Natasha Denona, Tom Ford, Dior, Chanel, etc put out palettes with the same color stories and no one bats an eye. In fact, a lot of people praised the My Dream palette which IMO looked very similar to the Retro and Bronze palettes; to each their own.
I must say I like it a lot more in rainbow order. It makes more sense.
I like some of the shades, some I wouldn’t wear. I think this will be an easy pass. I have two of the mega palettes and I have hardly used at all. In fact I hardly ever use any of my PMG palettes. I seem to like how they look, but I don’t like using them, I try to use them though as they weren’t all that cheap. 🙂
Definitely needs your touch of “reorg” on the color scheme (so I’ll look up the link you’ve presented on that), but you can’t argue that the swatches look really good. The only color I’d want (unique for me) though, is the navy (nice!!!)
