How do you organize your eyeliners?

How do you organize your eyeliners? Share!

For the most part, I organize by brand, but for eyeliners, I organize by color. For some colors, I separate by undertone (cool vs. warm) – shades like brown, purple, etc.

I sort by type. Gels, liquid, creams, and pencils are all separated. I have the most pencils so I just stick them in a mug with their color showing so I can just grab whatever color I want. I could probably use to sort my pencils by color since I have so many…but I’m too lazy. I also kinda like rooting around in my giant cup. Sometimes I forget I have certain colors and it’s neat to find them again.

I seperate my eyeliners only by eyeliner and they love in a birchbox half-box in my drawer. Cat-proofish, and then I organize the liquid liners on one side, and my UDs/pencil types on the other. The birchbox boxes are awesome for organizing my makeup!

I separate them by type – pencil, gel, and liquid. I don’t actually own enough to break it down by color or brand. 🙂

I don’t have them organized so it’s really dificult for me to find the right one when I’m applying my makeup. I’ll read all the coments to find some tips 😀 I need help!!!!

yeah, not exactly organized in this department. My pencil and liquid liners are sitting in glass cups separated between lip and eye; one for each in my cupboard. I have another cup for frequently used pencils which also houses my eyebrow pencils, my fav eye brushes as well as my Nars Smudeproof and currently opened mascara…any tubular shaped items I want quick access to that I can grab in one cup as a no-brainer. My gel liners are organized in a drawer by brand and colour with most frequent sitting at front of drawer. I have excess storage in my walk-in, but we won’t talk about that hoard.

They are all UD 24/7, UD Glitter Liners or my two Loreal Lineur Intense Liquid Liners. My everyday liners I keep in my makeup bag in my dresser drawer, that I sometimes throw in my purse. The rest of my liners are in a small box in my makeup organizer.

I keep repeats in a bundle in a draw and all the UD ones in the eyeliner vault packaging. Other eyeliners are organized by brand and then by colour

Right now I have just one eyeliner which is actually one of the NYX chubby shadow pencils. I just stick it in my “this is what I use every day” makeup case, the one that has the mascaras and that pencil.

This is going to be a rather short reply.
I own three (3) eyeliners, all pressed powder (Trish McEvoy Eye Definers) – a plum, a black, and a brown. I keep them stacked on the top of one of my makeup organizers. I have each compact labeled per the color it contains.
I’m uncharacteristically minimalist, when it comes to eyeliners.

Like my lipliners: two elastic-hair-tied-bundles sorted by brand new and already used lol
My friend did buy me a round three-holed pen holder so I will give away some so they can all fit 🙂

I keep mine in a Kipling zipper makeup case that has little straps where the pencils fit in just perfect. They are categorized in this case by color.
The short pencils are kept in a small pink case (that I believe I got with a Smashbox purchase) inside of that zipper case (back of case has a separate flat pocket where I can fit other products).

I organize mine by color & brand, starting with the lightest to darkest color. If I have a high priced “Fave Stray ” it goes 1st! lol
I used to have them standing up in The Large Acrylic Cosmetic Organizer but have since changed everything around when I purchased 2 pieces from Muji. Now I have it on the 4th drawer (under my mascara) laying down (something I worried a/b w/ all my lip gloss, stains & chub’s, mascara, etc.). This has been & still is a hard transition to make! I’m O.C.D. when it comes to certain things!

They are my only completely unorganized makeup products! Everything is just thrown into two separate acrylic boxes from the container store. I really have to change this, though, I’m never able to find the shade I’m looking for!

It’s neat that you do these by colour instead of brand. 🙂

Mine are all mixed (gel, pencil, etc.) with my mascaras since I don’t have all that many but I’m thinking of changing it up a little to help me see products that I don’t normally go for more easily.

i pretty much just have a drawer for black liners of all types and then the other drawer is other colors.. the only exception is i will put deep grey or double ended liners with a black end in my black eyeliner drawer.
