Now Available: NARS Holiday Color AND Gifting + shu uemura x Shupette

NARS Holiday 2014 Collection

NARS Holiday Collection is now available, including all the sets/kits (they bumped up the launch date).  You can see all reviews I have so far here. I’m going to try and get the last two sets reviewed tomorrow (but you can peek at swatches here).  My top picks are the limited edition Lipglosses, Deadly Catch/Femme Fleur lipsticks, and the Lip Pencil Set (full review goes up today).  Reader Nicole also spotted a few items up at Sephora (but not everything is up yet).

shu uemura x Shupette
shu uemura x Shupette also debuted today! 🙂

Let me know if you haul anything! I love hearing about what readers buy!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Hey Christine, I don’t see the lip pencil set on there! (the only set I wanted). Do you think it sold out or is it to be released later? Do you know if any stores will be carrying the holidays sets like Bloomindales or Nordstrom or Sephora?

Will you be reviewing anything from the Shupette collection? Some of the items look adorable but the only thing I’ve ever bought from Shu Uemura are eyelash curlers so I have no idea about their cosmetics.

Yes!!!! I was able to buy from the Shupette collection yesterday because I signed up for the advance notice email. I got the blush in orange and the eyelash curler. I already have a shu uemura curler but it is reallyyyy old and I just needed the new one with the Choupette charm. 🙂

I am trying to get my hands on the trio but I can’t order it from the website! Do you know if it’s only available at the counters? I might be able to swing by a Sephora tonight but I’m not even sure if they would have the Shupette collection in stores… hmmm…

Thanks Christine. I am using the US online shop and the eyeshadow trio is listed as something I can click on and view, but the “Add to Cart” button is in grey and nonfunctioning. Grrrrrr. I will call customer service tomorrow.

I called customer service yesterday, they weren’t aware of the problem (I can’t believe no one else called to notify!) but they said they would let tech know right away. I was obsessively refreshing the page all day yesterday but it was still broken.

FINALLY this morning (it’s 8 am in Vancouver lol) I was able to purchase the eye-need-shu trio. YAY! 😀

I got the Shupette cushion blush in pink!
The launch was kind of messed up though: I received an email yesterday morning for early access because I signed up for it, but neither the links nor the promo code worked. In the evening I was able to find the products on the website, but the code they had sent me was wrong (it’s karlxshu, not shuxkarl, for free shipping without a minimum purchase)!
I’m also disappointed that the nail polishes, eyeliners and primer are not on the website. I hope they’ll come later but I’m afraid they might not be available in the US.
