Neutral Makeup: Go Away Rainy Days

Neutral Makeup:  Go Away Rainy Days

Even though it was a miserable, rainy day, I decided to warm things up with Bobbi Brown’s Bonfire Palette! 🙂

You will need the following…

For eyes, start by applying Soft Ochre paint pot as your eyeshadow base all over the eye area with the 249. Using the 239, apply Cafe Cream eyeshadow on the inner third of the eyelid. Next, apply Bonfire eyeshadow on the middle third of the eyelid and lightly blend with the inner corner. Darken the outer third of the lid with Cognac eyeshadow with the 239, gently brushing it into the lower crease. Lightly blend Cognac eyeshadow, with the 239, on the outer corner and lid. Lightly tap and brush Bonfire eyeshadow directly above the crease to soften. To finish the eyeshadow look, sweep Bone eyeshadow as a highlighter on the brow bone. Bring everything together by applying Gold eyeliner on the lower lash line and Bonfire eyeshadow lightly patted below the lower lash line with the 219 brush. Finish by sweeping lashes with Plushlash mascara.

For cheeks, apply Quickie blush to the apples of the cheeks and sweep upwards towards the temple with the 188.

For lips, apply Peachstock lipstick first, and then layer Double Dare cremsheen glass for a complementing lip.

Thanks, Rashmi!

Try maybe… Copperplate/Club on the inner corner, Amber Lights on the middle, and Bronze/Romp on the outer crease/lid.

Hmm, knowing how you like your golds and the like, Bonfire would be a good match for you! I love some products, but I don’t love BB quite as much as MAC. Sometimes Bobbi Brown is just too soft for my personal liking!

Hi Christine!
I don’t know… i think this isn’t one of my faves looks,i think it makes you look tired or something like that.
Sorry 🙁

Christine, I love this look! It’s going to make me go back to look at double dare. I got loud & lovely when it came out.
Btw will you be doing a ask temptalia session soon? I’m waiting for the next one because I have a question for you.

I love that look on you. It’s raining out here in NY too but I went with a blue look for the rainy day. By the way you look awesome on my new netbook.

Very pretty look Christine! It’s raining cats and dogs here in NJ. I got caught in the rain yesterday, but MUFE didn’t let me down. It stayed totally in tact.

I love the lip combo. I never would’ve put those two together. I’m not crazy about either lippie alone, but now I will try them together.
Thanks.

beautiful..love the lips…I thought peachstock was a nude l/s, with a brown undertone, its looks berryish here, or is double dare creamsheen that pigmented?

I LOVE that necklace! It is really beautiful, and coordinates with the look so nicely 🙂
I love these neutral looks with a little pop of gold liner and some bolder lips… they are great for days when you want a touch of drama without going full out crazy… Double Dare was the only Cremesheen glass I got this time around, I LOVE it!
