Too many red and orange and warm toned browns to work for me. At least the shades have names rather than “placements”.
I like the color story here and that cheek palette looks really nice in your photos!
Meh… that’s all I’ve got for this eyeshadow palette. It looks very warm-toned and boring to me. I’m sure the formula will be great and for people who don’t already have these colors and/or want to try out an ND palette, it will be a win. For me, it’s a no, thank you.
This looks beautiful, BUT… in ND palettes, there are always too many colors that are similar. It’s odd to me.
Uggh ND cannot do a multichrome to save her life. The rest I can recreate with some of her other palettes. Easy pass!
For this palette, I agree.
I really like this palette! Minus the blues, greens and grungy inspiration this reminds me of Born to Run by UD.
Great color story, nice mix of mattes, sparkle and finishes; although warm leaning there’s plenty of neutrals and cool tones to appeal to a variety of preferences and skin tones.
Looking forward to your thorough review Christine, I’m saving for this, hope it’s still available at holiday time. : )
Pre-Glam, pre-Retro Midi’s or PML Divine Rose II and Subversive Motherships, this palette would be something that I would have to have. But, actually I do already, don’t I? Just scattered between 4 other palettes!
Color story doesn’t seem impressive but I’m sure the formula will be great.
I know that Celesta has already purchased this palette and loves it…..the swatches look fabulous. For me, there is possibly too many mattes, plus the bright pink shades that I wouldn’t use and it would not make a viable purchase. But I think it’s a good one.
vision is gorgeous. hopefully she’s lol put it in the mini or release as single or repeat in another palette somewhere down the line that’s more interesting
I can’t wait to read your review, Christine. I’m particularly interested in the face palette and the lip products.
Sigh…the shade Edgy is the reason I get suckered into buying her palettes and then end up hardly using them. If it were just that deep eggplant it is in the pan! The cream-powder formula never builds up enough for me and is always disappointing in a dark color. I always think I can get it to how it looks in the pan, but to no avail. Not doing it this time! I won’t be duped! I’m resisting, as beautiful as it looks!
If you have the Pat McGrath holiday palette from two years ago, there’s a shade called Venomous Void that reminds me a lot of Edgy. It’s a blendable, pigmented shade. My favorite in that palette.
I purchased this palette and I love it… it reminds me a lot of ND Star. Not any direct dupes, but very similar vibes. It’s not as warm toned and it seems to be and I just love the cream to powder formula. Vision is rather similar to Color Flip from Trichrome, but more pink and the formulation is much more sparkly than in Triochrome. It really is a very lovely palette and the berries and oranges are perfect for fall.
Agreed! I also purchased this palette and the blush palette as well. Love the collection. Risk and Babies are two of my favourites, but I also love edgy because it seems to be a balance between Phoenix and Electra.. which has been one of my favourite custom colours I would combine from the Star palette.
Yawn
Haha! I was initially really interested in this palette, but seeing these photos makes me feel the same way! I was hoping it would be more neutral or cooler leaning. I have a billion options for warm brown/gold/pinkish shades.
This actually reminds me a lot Modern Renaissance!!! The berry colors, the warm tone mattes.
As I checked for the final review and look at this palette again, I see that “again,” a light color for the brow, highlighting, or inner corner is not here. Here lighter colors remain not light enough for me (and I’m a neutral yellow-olive medium – PML 13; MAC 37, not really that light-toned)
