Hey Christine, sorry for another comment. I just stopped mid gasped and realized that I think this may not be the Dual intensity formula. From what I can see on Sephora’s site, it is not. Do you have any clarification? I have the full narcissist palette(older). I don’t really care for it. Just trying to figure out the formula here. Thanks doll! 🙂

Slightly annoyed by the stuff that’s only available to VIB/VIB Rouge folks. Like, I get the purpose in promoting purchasing from Sephora, but how am I supposed to get there if some of the stuff I want to buy I can’t?

IF anything is left! Even if a product eventually gets restocked, there’s a good chance I’ll be able to find it elsewhere before that happens, *and* I won’t have to deal with purchasing online. If I had more access to more brands/products (especially in-store), I’d have been Rouge a looong time ago!

*Yawn*. Another palette full of totally dupeable shades. Meh. I love NARS and I get why they chose the colors, but last year’s NARSissist palette looks like it includes almost all of these shades PLUS seven more for just a little extra $$$. Yes, this palette includes a mini Night Series liner (which they’re not exactly full of product to begin with), but the Night Series liners were just mediocre at best.

I repeat: Meh. *Yawn*.

It’s available as a duo, for $34 USD. If that’s really the only shade you’re interested in, it may be better to go that route, and get significantly more product. HTH

I entirely don’t need this and it’s an easy “skip” for me but I’m “loving” it nevertheless as I just generally love Nars eyeshadows and their palettes, which are such a great way to get a lot of different shadows at a better price than buying singles or duos. But lemme just say I HATE this “early access/exclusive for VIB Rouge members”. I am a VIB Rouge member but I don’t like purchasing online (as I have said way too many times) and this stuff is never available “in store” to VIB Rouge members – you always have to order online. GRRRRR!

A manager at Sephora explained the whole “online” incentive when I griped about it (I *hate* being “forced” to buy online). Basically, when Sephora gets new product, it’s cheaper for them to just have it in one central warehouse, and ship it to wherever it needs to go, rather than constantly having to restock store shelves. This is especially true for LE products, and “new” products, as they figure the masses will rush to buy online, and they can slowly trickle onto shelves, and since sooo many have already purchased the product, they don’t have to worry about constantly shipping additional product to stores. This is also why (at least in the greater Los Angeles area) shelves are packed with more “mainstream” products/brands. Fortunately, a couple of my local stores put up displays/testers about a week or so beforehand, so I can at least swatch first, but not all stores do this… Also, we do have Nordstrom here, and they’ve been getting some things even sooner.

I do get why Sephora does this, but like I stated above, I’d have been Rouge 3X over a long time ago, which would also benefit Sephora, if I could access many products more conveniently in their stores, rather than one of many other retailers.

Sometimes, if you talk to a SA and tell them you received an email about early access for VIB Rouge, they will get one out of their stock area for you (if they already have it in stock). This happened to me with the UD Vice 3 palette. The SA even brought out an opened palette for me to swatch first before I made the commitment.

Most of these can probably be duped even within NARS’ permanent range, but I’ll most likely swatch it, anyway, LOL!

The first 3, which I’m most interested in anyway, can likely be duped with Edie, D. Gorgeous, & maybe Blondie, at least when actually applied to the eye…

A lovely palette, but there are a few shades that look really similar to each other. Again, NARS has included a rich brown (entirely dupable), when a beautiful green could/should have been included. Love the grey and the navy colours. Hope they review well.

Chocolate- infused with raspberry shimmer, Golden infused denim, have caught my attention! But I’m going to wait for your review, especially considering that the older Narscissist ( NOT the recent Dual-Intensity one) was not one I heard great things about.
