We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Hi Rachel,

Any information I have is posted as soon as NARS sends it to me (or in the rare case, when we’re allowed to post per embargoes). If it’s not on the blog, it means we don’t have it (which probably means the brand hasn’t officially released it!). Sorry!

How are you finding Mizubake in similarity to Yachiyo? I really wanted to get ahold of it, but I am not sure now. Is this new one replacing Yachiyo?.

I’m half Japanese and proud of it but this kabuki brushes is remind me of ink brush so much LOL it just me or they look more beautiful on red background. I just want them in simple matte black as Kudoki brush though

Christine is right–it never ‘left’–just sold out everywhere a LONG time–Nordstrom.com FINALLY has it again now–also I ordered it a few months ago (when it was out everywhere online) by phoning the ‘Melrose NARS boutique’ directly at (310) 623-1730 & they shipped it 2 my house –HTH! 🙂

I love the way their brushes look but when I felt the bristles – the price is not worth it. Especially in Canadian dollars 🙁 The brush with the stick end I have seen cheaper option of.

Sadly my Nars Yachiyo brush sheds like no tomorrow . I love the unique design and it buffs and blends very delicate . I care of all my brushes , but…

The bound handle is a huge disappointment. My Yachiyo unraveled horribly after a short time. I wouldn’t touch another NARS brush w/a ten-foot pole.
