Framboise Velours (315) is another huge win for this formula. As a big fan of the LeRouge line in general, this one is no exception. The colour is outstanding and I believe will work across skintones: light to dark, cool to warm. The cool tones are subtle and indeed, as a darker lip colour, its surprisingly soft and highly wearable and doesn't run 'vampy' on my NC20ish neutral skin. I would compare this to Guerlain Madame Batifole, but this one is not as bright, pulls more plum than red and a little more wearable for those looking for a punchier colour without going over the top. It is absolutely gorgeous and serves to effortlessly brighten the complexion. Wonderful!
I'm a huge fan of the Givenchy LeRouge formula in general and have about a dozen shades and building in my stash. If you like super creamy, slightly thicker but lightweight, highly pigmented lipstick, this could be a perfect formula for you. I chose this shade, Rose Plumetis, as a casual day lip colour. For me, this works as a MLBB shade and is very similar to my actual lip tones. I was drawn to this particular shade as it runs a little cooler and plummier than others of similar ilk. I have neutral skintones and find this extremely flattering against my skin whereas most shades in this range pull more nude/warmer and look rather unremarkable. This one just gives me that little extra oompf.
