Amazing palette with a wide variety of shades. You have brights, metallics and neutrals so you can easily create different looks. The eyeshadows themselves apply really well and slide on effortlessly when applied using a brush. The texture is quite buttery and smooth. I managed to get an evenings wear out of most of the eye shadows and the pigmentation was never lost. Although the palette is quite pricey I would say its worth the price as you can easily have the palette as an entire shadow collection.
Ordered this with some spare Birthday money I got last week after seeing a great review & swatches on here for the Rihanna lipglass & lipstick for MAC. When the lipglass came I was shocked at how small it is for the price it is a tiny tube! Half the size of the lipglosses all I own. On application it is a thin red with sparkles and a blue undertone. I applied it on bare lips and it was enough to cover my lips and still have some colour. I think it would potentially look better layered with a red lipstick but even on its own its a stunning product. Only niggle is that for the price you don't get enough product.
Picked this up at my local Chanel counter and wow I am impressed! Im not usually one for lip glosses but fell for this shade when seeing it on swatches and blogs. When I applied it it slid on easily and effortless and my lips were a vampish purpley pink shade that really complimented my skin tone. It is a little pricey but so worth it for the quality and pigmentation. I would recommend wearing this without eyeshadow though for best effect.
I was in dire need of a concealer after my skin decided to flare up when I switched birth control pills. Having never had spotty skin in my teenage or adult life, I haven't used concealer as an everyday stable product so was pretty clueless to which one would be right for hiding hormonal acne. I did my usual research online and searched popular brands such as Nars, M.A.C and even budget brands such as Collection 2000 on makeupalley and blogs. I nearly caved in and brought a £4.19 concealer which had rave reviews online by Collection 2000 but as I couldn't find it I headed down to my nearest NARS counter. On arrival the concealer was teamed with NARS Sheer Glow foundation and lightly patted onto my spots to disguise them.I noticed very little product was needed which makes me think although the high price tag this product could last a long time! The concealer did what it said on the tin and made my spots look invisible! I would recommend going a shade down rather than up in this concealer though for better coverage.
I was looking for a rose gold blush to add to my extensive blush collection. I had toyed with the idea of purchasing one from the NARS sexual appeal collection but I was eventually won over Rockateur. I applied with a wide brush and brushed it onto the apple of my cheeks. Straight away it provided me with a shimmering healthy glow. The product is buildable and like a lot of the other Benefit powders applies like a dream and it is very hard to over do it. The shade is gorgeous a light pink with subtle hints of rose gold shimmer. The only negative I am going to give this product is that there is less in it than the other Benefit powders.
