I purchased this 2 months ago and have been wearing it consistently. I use a med flat brush that is a little stiffer than a regular flat brush. Japonesque 712, to be exact. It is perfect for this cream shadow. I've found at my age (mid 60's) a one shadow look is more flattering than my old method of separate crease, lid, corner, etc. I do lightly brush my entire lid with a powder off-white base. Then I tap this shadow on, into the crease and over the entire lid and corners. It's blendable and easy to use. It's dimensional so that it looks darker in the crease and yet the lid is highlighted. There is just enough of a sheen, but no sparkles. I've been wearing mattes only this past year, but found this has just the right amount of sheen. Doesn't emphasis any crepiness. But the best part is that I can put it on in the morning and at 11 pm it is just as fresh as when I applied it. I don't have trouble with creasing or having product move around. I don't need a separate eye primer. But other products do sometime fade. Not the case here. I think my palette shopping will go down from now on. I could give my palettes away! While the glass jar isn't ideal for travel (and we travel a lot), there is no need to bring palette as well. The color of Memory is a medium toned brown with hints of gold. It's not too dark and not taupe. I'm a fan.
