i already got this as a gift, and I have to say that after experimenting for a few weeks, I haven't been having nearly as many problems with it. I agree that Santa Baby kicks up a ton of little chunks when I swipe my brush across, and I can't get Sprinkles to have the same color payout as in the pan unless I wet the brush. But the bronzer had been blending out fine for me, as have the matte brown shades. Gingersnap is fantastic, and I like that Black Coffee sheets out bc my other black shades are super intense and sometimes I want a less intense look. IDK, if you get this as a gift don't immediately toss without playing around with it at least a little. I also got it before I looked at a single review, so either I have confirmation bias or got one that wasn't that bad. Maybe if I had paid for it myself I'd be way more annoyed.
