This color is beautiful and the pigmentation is deep. This came out as a deep orchid. It is easy to apply using the included sponge tip, or it also applies well with a brush. The formula and this color lasts and lasts--I've worn it for entire shifts at work without reapplying, and I've also worn it out shopping, out to eat, out for drinks, and rarely have to reapply. The color will fade but not come off completely. It is neither drying nor moisturizing, but I do like to wear it when I'm sick and my lips aren't as smooth as I'd like--this formula is very forgiving towards mild chapping! It does leave a faint stain behind, and it is lightly vanilla scented.
This palette works amazingly to subtly but beautifully enhance my skin. I'm not big into the heavy contouring craze, so I love how these shades are all subtle, easy to blend, yet help to shape and finish the skin. I use Dim all over, to blur imperfections, and I also use it for some subtle nose contouring using a small, dense contour brush. Radiant is used to highlight under my cheekbones. Incandescent goes across my face underneath my eyes, above my brows, and lightly dotted on my cupid's bow and chin. The powders all blend beautifully. The effect is my skin, but better. I use a matte foundation because I have oily skin, so this product really helps make my face look less masklike without being too shiny.
I look for my face primers to help my face products stay on as long as possible. This one really does the trick! It's easy to spread on, and then you must work fast to get your foundation on your face. The primer really sticks the foundation on and seems to freeze it in place. I notice much less product coming off my oily skin in the course of a day. If you're looking for mattification, this product is not going to do it--but I rely on a good setting powder to fix oiliness/shine. This is a great product for making your foundation look fresh on your face longer.
