Disappointed by this. I'll start with the positives though - the packaging is gorgeous, nice and sturdy. I'm into the copper/rose gold trend so this fits in with the aesthetic of my real life vanity. It's a pump bottle, which is always a plus. The scent is warm, and not in a bad way - like warm coconuts after lying on a sunny beach for the whole day. It doesn't play well with floral/sweet perfumes unfortunately. The actual formula is odd - it's a gel consistency, and one pump can easily coat one arm. The glitter itself is not gritty, which is always a plus. However this product doesn't dry down. It stays quite tacky, which can be uncomfortable if you're wearing sleeves or jewellery. Perhaps because of this formula though, the product itself can shine. When it catches the light, the rose gold specks are quite something. It makes you sparkle, and if you enjoy that kind of thing then you will love the finished effect (dewy, almost glossy in the shade). However it doesn't last. I noticed that I had minimal sparkle left on me after two hours - and virtually none by the end of the day. It's a shame. I felt quite glamorous after applying - but as above, the pros outweigh the cons. Especially for the amount Fenty is charging for it. With improvements to the formula, I'm afraid this product is something better suited for editorial purposes.

I have Fuel in bullet form and love it, so I had to buy the gloss version. Glad I did! The formula is smooth, not gritty despite the shimmer, and it does plump up my lips - but not too dramatically. Other brands put too much menthol in the formula - UD have just enough for a slightly tingly, cooling effect that dissipates after 30 minutes. Also has a slight minty flavour - quite yummy! The colour itself lasted for a good three hours - my lips looked plump and glossy. It then faded nicely, and kept them looking moisturised. My only gripe with the product is the actual applicator itself. It's not very stiff and feels rather flimsy. If the formula were thicker, I'd be concerned it would snap off. Hopefully UD improve this aspect of the product - otherwise it's a perfect score.

Luxe packaging and smooth formula however it can appear too thick if applied liberally. The metallic sheen on this gloss can translate to a beautiful rose-gold glow on the lips, and it can easily be applied over a traditional matte liquid lipstick to add some dimension. I prefer wearing it as a standalone gloss as it completes a fresh faced makeup look.

This gloss is one of my go-to summer glosses. The glitter reflects in it are not gritty at all, and enhance the natural pigment of my lips and further enhances any coloured lipliner applied underneath. The scent is also amazing - like butterscotch but softer.
