This was such a fail for me! If you have light or fair skin (maybe even medium, depending on your skin tone), this is not a highlight by any stretch of the imagination. On my fair skin, it's a full on bronzer. It's also packed full of large particles of glitter, which got everywhere - on my chin, in my mouth, everywhere. It left my skin looking textured and terrible. The lightest shade might have worked on it's own, but at this price point, it's not worth keeping. The packaging is also off for Charlotte Tilbury products. The compact has a nice weight to it but the faux marble top is made of very cheap plastic. Thank goodness I could return it (and that I tried it on a day when I had to wear a mask!). This is my third return in the last few CT launches from a brand that has been my go-to for 8 years. I don't know if she's coming out with too many new products too quickly, but it's very sad to see.

This formula is very nice and it's a pretty, luminous formula. The shade range is very off though, which is surprising since this is Charlotte's fourth foundation. The lightest shade 1N is way, way too dark for me out of the bottle and it oxidized so much that I looked orange by the end of the day. I found one pump of foundation was too much coverage but when I mixed half a pump with a green primer, it was very nice. I returned because I can't wear it on its own. If you want to try it, I recommend selecting a shade lighter than the one you wear in her other foundations.

I love the original Eyes to Mesmerise and have every shade. The matte formula is terrible. It's dry, sticky, patchy, doesn't blend, and is not user friendly. The grade and review above are spot on. Thank goodness for Charlotte's great return policy.
