My HG vivid red, there is nothing like this. It brightens up my entire face and is my most complimented lipstick I've ever worn, it's velvety, and has zero stickiness. That being said... this is not a luscious creamy lipstick (think the opposite of Bite or Too Faced). I constantly moisturize my lips and apply heavy lip balm every night, so I rarely run into drying issues with any of my lipsticks. This can be drying if I reapply during the day (which is not often). I also haven't had tugging or dragging problems during application.

Definitely not sheer or peachy - if that's what you're looking for, check out Lovelight or Sheer Streak. Protest is a rich warm nude on me. I highly recommend this if the trendy "nude lip" is too ashy or cool-toned, which is what I kept running into.

I love love LOVE this lipstick. I'm a huge fan of the Revolution formula. I used this with MAC's Prep and Prime lip primer and UD 69 lip liner, and it lasted from 11 AM to 6 PM with little fading (which is like a world record for me!). I use a brush to apply it, as I find that the wide flat tip deposits too much product on my lips, causing it to get thick and gunky along the inside of my lip.
