Yup! 🙂 It’s good because it’s highlight, blush color, contour, so you can sculpt your cheeks. I’d get the Hocus Focus one because peach is universally flattering, and Fab-racadabra would make any MAC fan that hasn’t been involved with MAC makeup for years look like they’ve been eating carrots like a rabbit! 😉
Im sure you are the best person to ask, I have seen a MAC holiday pallett on another website that has silver and black almost like baul bauls on the front, not seen it on here though and cant find any info on it, any ideas?
They sound like the holiday palettes from 2006…those had all-black covers with different materials (Lace, velvet, etc.).I have the smokey eyes and warm eyes from that year, gorgeous e/s!!

I hope so too, it’s the only time of the year I really purchase pigments since a full jar would go to waste.
Cant remember where but i saw on another website that there are pigment kits – google the collection name and you’ll find it (but no images). I’m definitely waiting for pigment kits. Hope that they either have new colours or repromotes of popular LE ones instead of permanent shades

Wow, I actually don’t like these so far 🙁 I’m normally a sucker for the holiday releases and the palettes, but this one…. it just isn’t doing it for me ;_;
I adored last year’s holiday set but am not finding myself too excited about this one. Maybe the colors will be more enticing in person.
I’m actually quite disappointed. I’ve come to expect more elegant holiday releases in the past, and the packaging here looks almost exactly like a lipgloss kit I got from Target when I was four.

A few things: I wish MAC would go back to having fabric or soft types of cases when they make these sets. I’m not crazy about the metal casing. I almost always buy a set or two from holiday, it’s a good way to get a lot of MAC for a reasonable price. Lastly, I am so happy that they are doing another face kit. It’s been a long time since they had these, and I still love and use the one I got back in 2000!

Has anyone noticed how lame those lip kits have been in the past? I keep getting suckered in by the packaging but they’ve got so little pigmentation, they may as well be clear! Sign me up for Sorceress or possibly Smoke and Mirrors, though. The eyeshadow kits are normally great, esp the neutral ones!

I really don’t like the packaging at all, but I can still see my self picking up a substantial amount of this collection, cause I love mac kits, i’m seriously excited for the cheek kits!
I’m definitely getting my hands on all the eyehadow kits…i just think it’s a resonable price to be paying for 6 eyeshaodws which are all limited edition…i have two months to save up looks like i’ll be skipping the makeup art collection which doesn’t look that great to me anyways

there’s no brush set.. the brush you see on the picture is the brush in the eyeshadow palette.. but omg i really adore this collection!

I’m not feeling these at all. I’ll get the Sorceress Eyeshadow palette but that’s about it. It just looks like MAC has gotten a little too cheap and I hope that they’ll be releasing a holiday brush collection like they have been doing every year.

Phoo, when I saw the thumbnail I was scared they make these DIOR-like spotted palettes. I am so glad they are not. I like the new shape…

Holiday kits have never been my fancy…I always find the colors so boring, and it seems like the quality is even worse than usual products.
As always the quality of MAC color cosmetics is spot-on, so that’s never an issue. HOWEVER, they NEED to change the packaging! 36 bucks gets me 6 eyeshadows housed in what looks like something from the dollar store.
I can’t wait to see swatches for these in October! hopefully it will help me decide what to get.
I’ve never bought a holiday kit…but I’ve already made my wish list.
If mac is reading this, PLEASE CHANGE THE PACKAGING OF THESE KITS. last years was cute, this years looks incredibly cheap.

Eh… I don’t like the “bubble” art. It reminds me of cheap makeup or makeup geared towards teens.
Hard Candy has/had something similar (regarding the bubble art). Maybe I’ll wait until it’s at my local CCO. Otherwise, I’m not interested.

I am also getting bored with MAC’s holiday kits. It seems like they trot out the same lame combos every year. I remember eye and lip palettes that had 10 shades in them! They just seem like they’re not really trying to be exciting anymore.

i absolutley love the 2 face kits, i cant wait to get them, b.c they have 2 blushes from the reg line that i dont already have- what a good deal! i love how they added these face ones, b/c in the past its only been eyes and lips palettes.
I wanted to be in love with this collection more than anything. I like the sound of some of the e/s palettes and maybe a lip palette or 2 but I hate the packaging. It’s okay but looks very plain and cheap to me. It’s not what I think of when I think MAC, I may get a few things but that packaging is really putting me off….
Yeah those look awesome but I agree with the people who say that the packaging looks cheap. MAC always likes to sell us quads in crap packaging that looks like something Wet n Wild would put out.

I got to pre-order mine yesterday….. They are really little ….It’s kind of cute but it doesn’t seem like there is a lot of product. The bags are adorable though ….I got all four

I went to my MAC counter at Macys and they were doing pre-orders. I know that the collections are usually available to order the Tuesday before release but other then that Im not sure.

Between those two… probably Devil May Care. It’s a really great palette, even though it’s not like the most original palette ever by MAC. The Smoke & Mirrors palette is nice, but you can easily replicate it with permanent shades.
