OH I’m so glad they have the lip gloss set!! I wish the colors weren’t so similar to last year’s, but I’ll get it anyway. Seriously, the value of the kit is insanely good, and the formula is my absolute Holy Grail. Fantastic pigmentation, and more moisturizing than any balm I’ve ever used.
Christine, I know you only have 50 bajillion more holiday reviews, but I would love to see your thoughts on the formula!!
Totally agree! This set is a great value and the formula is one of the best! Not sticky, just the right coverage and shine for a gloss and they last for hours.
This set looks like
Meant to say this set looks like it has several colors that will transition to spring.
I just wish Lorac would ship to Australia ;o(
Pretty, but all skips for me. I had to return Tinge blush because it’s so light (I’m light/light med, probably NC 15-20), that I had to pack on at least 4 layers for it to show up, and it oxidized too. And I’m on a no-buy for gloss, although the colors are pretty, and $25 for 6 full size glosses is a great bargain.
I like the looks of that blush palette! Seems like it would be good for ultra-pale people like me.
Thanx for posting these Christine!
Awwww shucks …..these are so darn beautiful …. First I was in Uk and Ulta doesn’t ship internationally and now I have moved to Dubai … I so want these Lorac holiday sets including Mega pro 3 … Please help ??
The lip gloss and matte lip pencils are definitely interesting sets! Only catch is, I may need to put myself on a bit of a lip product “diet”, as I really need to start using up what I already have. Only buying something that is different enough from anything I already own at this point.
!!! CHRISTINE IMPORTANT !!! – I think one of the advertisements on your site is trying to trick people in to installing a fake Firefox update that I’m sure is malware. I’ve had it pop up two days in a row after clicking through open one of the articles from your main page. I trust you and know that isn’t anything you would ever try to do so please take a look in to this so people who don’t know better won’t be fooled, thanks.
Could you email me a screen shot to christine[at]temptalia.com? I haven’t seen anything myself, though I use Chrome, but we don’t allow any pop-ups/pop-unders so it does sound like a rogue ad. The only way for me to track it down is to repeat it on my side, but if I see a screen shot, I might be able to look at the domain and block it (which may or may not work).
Also, if you are able to remember any ads you saw on the page prior to it happening may also be helpful (it is more likely masquerading as a legitimate ad).
I will try opening some more articles to see if anything pops up but I don’t remember what the ads were unfortunately. I know that doesn’t really help but wanted to let you know. If I see it pop up on me again I’ll let you know.
Hey Chelle,
Definitely let me know! You can also report the URL of the window that opens up (while I can block the domain, it may not be the one linked to the ad itself, and from what I know, they likely use a bunch of domains as they get shut down quickly) through Google: https://www.google.com/safebrowsing/report_badware/
Thanks, I will keep an eye out but so far I haven’t seen it again.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you do! 🙂
Hi Christine,
I saw it too. It came up while browsing through the MUFE eyeliner post. Please look into it.
Thanks,
Dhivya
Hi Dhivya,
Unfortunately, because it is related to an ad, the ad you see is not necessarily the ad I see! I have not yet seen it.
Christine, I sent a note to your support email address with a link to my screenshot of the malware download, I got it for the 3rd time yesterday. Just commenting in case my note got missed.
I will let them know!
Yup, that just happened to me as well and I had no clue what was going on. Glad you brought it to her attention!
If you could please send screen shots to christine[at]temptalia.com with the URL or copy + paste the URL to me (via email), that would be helpful! Unfortunately, ads are served through a lot of individual networks and are targeted by a lot of criteria, so it is hard for me to block an ad if I can’t replicate/look at the source code. It is a rogue ad, so hopefully the ad networks (like Google) catch it soon.
The glosses look nice. I don’t know if Lorac has changed their gloss formulas since the early 00’s but I used to love it. I’m not sure I can forgive the Bae shade name from them, but all the colors minus Bae are nice. I hope you swatch them!
They all look really nice! The Mega Pro 3 palette didn’t grab me but these are lovely.
I saw photos on Instagram (shoutout to makeuplunchanddinner lol!!) and I’ve been dying to get my hands on Lorac’s holiday sets! I’m never making a mad dash for Lorac, but these look so pretty.
I’m actually somewhat tempted by that lip gloss set. The Burgundy Wine lip color also sounds like it’s right up my alley, although I don’t know if I would want to commit to the whole set.
I’ve picked up Cue the Confetti and A Lavish Affair already, with plans to order the Mega Pro 3 if it’s still available online when my Ulta card comes. Also, Kohl’s has some Lorac exclusives that I’m loving the look of and may have to try to get—like a set of the alter ego lipsticks in new shades and that gorgeous rose gold packaging…I’m gonna have to go on a lip product ban after this holiday buying, since that’s mostly what I’ve picked up.
