Fancy Purple & Black
About this Look
Hi, all! I didn’t go as anyone for this Halloween, but I felt like doing a special, kind of dramatic makeup look on Halloween just for fun, really. I went for a dark purple color, since it matched my shirt, and since I felt like that would be a nice color for the night time. ^.^
Eyes:
For my eyeshadow, I started off with using Colourpop’s Pressed Powder eyeshadow in “Pretty Cool.” I put this all over my eyelids, and into the crease. Afterwards, I used Kiko Milano’s “Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow” in the color “16 Purple.” Finally, I used Colourpop’s Super Shock Eyeshadow in “Roulette” for the black outer-corners of my eyes, and in the inner corner of my eyes, I used Kiko Milano’s “Smart Color Eyeshadow” in the color “01, Metallic White.”
Also, for my eyes, I used Hikari’s Mechanical Eyeliner in the color “Raven,” and I topped it off with Maybelline Lots of Lashes Mascara, probably my favorite mascara.
Face:
On my face, I used Wet ‘N’ Wild “Photo Focus Concealer” in “Light Ivory,” and I used it over the dark circles of my eyes, on my forehead, and on my cheeks above the cheekbones, as well as on my chin.
I also used the Wet ‘N’ Wild Contour MegaGlo Contouring Palette in the “Dulce De Leche” shades. (I contoured my face for the first time tonight. I don’t usually do it in everyday looks, though ^^)
Lips:
I used Nyx’s “Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick” in the color “Cherry Skies.” It’s a pretty dramatic color, but I think it’s quite beautiful, though I would only like to wear it for dramatic looks or special occasions.
