Looks - Father's Day Super Neutral Eye
I really, really like this look. It is pretty similar to the look I did for my sister’s high school graduation a few days ago. I don’t normally repeat looks so close together, but since yesterday was Father’s Day, and I know my dad isn’t big on makeup… neutral it was!
What are some of your favorite neutral looks?
P.S. – I am so happy with my eyebrows — they are just about the thickness that I have been working on for the past two months.
I used Soft Ochre paint pot all over lid, Nylon eyeshadow on lid, Ricepaper eyeshadow on middle of lid, Warming Trend eyeshadow (LE) on outer lid, Satin Taupe eyeshadow above crease, Bronze eyeshadow in outer crease, Ricepaper eyeshadow above crease and on brow, Nylon eyeshadow on lower lash line, Blacktrack fluidline on upper and lower lash lines, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. I had Margin blush with Dior Amber Diamond SkinShimmer on cheeks. I wore High 90s slimshine (LE) with Nymphette lipglass on my lips.
** These are recommendations for dupes based on permanent colors available — may not necessarily be identical; they are the closest I can think of!
Warming Trend = Patina; High 90s = Skew
I don’t normally wear neutral makeup, but I’ve been getting into it lately. I really like what you did. Sometimes it’s just inappropriate to have a bunch of crazy colors! (unfortunately.)
Thanks so much, Trisha! I never used to wear it, but now I love natural looks 🙂

You do have gorgeous eyebrows! I’m relatively new to your site, and I love all the looks you’ve done. I’m more apt to try the neutral looks like this one because they’re beautiful, and work-safe as well.
Thank you, Kristina! I’m glad you found the site. Hope to see you around 🙂
Looking great!

This look looks really fresh on you. The brows do look beautiful.
Thanks a lot, Rubi 🙂
Ooohh, I am so envious of your brows! I am trying to grow mine out also…love the look!
Good luck, Tammy! It’s such a hard process to go through!
Lovely 🙂 Your brows look perfect!
Thanks, Stacey 😀
Very pretty, Christine!
Thanks Jessica!
What immaculate blending on this look. I especially like how it looks in the last picture, it really showcases your talent.
When you grow in your brows, do you let everything grow in and then go at it? Or tweeze the areas you’re not looking to “thicken” and leave the rest to grow in?
Thank you so much, K 🙂 I only tweezed what was TOTALLY not within my future-brow. If it was near the area, I might let it stay, but I was looking more to thicken than to reshape, so a total grow out wasn’t necessary.
That is so my kind of look, really beautiful! Love the eyebrows!
Love the eyebrows too!!!
Thank you, Sanita!
Thanks so much, Nell 😀
I love when ur hair is pulled back in a ponytail. I think it really compliments your face. This overall look is great for you, Christine!
Thanks, Sash! It’s nice to hear that, because sooo many tell me to leave the hair down!
