Looks - Bright Gold & Green Eye for Summer Fun
I used Golden Lemon pigment on lid, Going Bananas eyeshadow on inner lid (LE), Overgrown eyeshadow on middle of lid (LE), Wondergrass eyeshadow on outer lid and crease (LE), Overgrown eyeshadow above crease (LE), Going Bananas eyeshadow above crease (LE), Ricepaper eyeshadow on brow, Blacktrack fluidline on lower & upper lash line, and Plushblack plushlash mascara on lashes. I had Other Worldly blush (LE) with Daisydust beauty powder (PRO) on cheeks. I wore CB96 lipstick with Trifle lipglass (LE) on my lips.
** Try substituting Chrome Yellow or Nylon for Going Bananas (or Bright Sunshine, a pro color); Bitter for Overgrown (or Sour Lemon, a pro color); Swimming for Wondergrass (or Bio-Green, a pro color); Style for Other Worldly; C-Thru for Trifle.
** The blush wasn’t nearly so OTT in real life, but it’s a fairly shimmery color, so it POPS with flash photography!
I think the blush was a little overdone but nevertheless, it’s still a fun summery look!
Thanks, Bec! It was quite tame in real life, but oh well!
I love my greens and so I love this look! I really need to get my hands on some of the PRO green colours, lime and biogreen!
Thanks, Winnie! 🙂
Beautiful!!!!
Thanks, Erin!
Thank you (to the exponent 99) for adding in substitute colours for LE items. I was disparing due to my lack of Going Bananas.
Thank god for the PRO store for coming out with all the bright colors you could ever need!
This is so gorgeous! I love how vibrant it looks… omg why can’t it be summer NOW??? 😀
Thanks!! 🙂
LOL, I know, right?
It was LIKE summer here all weekend, though, so it was nice!
Love it! Is the liner on top growing on you?
No, it’s not – actually my eyelids have been somewhat swollen in the afternoon after I’ve applied the look, and after 3-4 days of wearing it, now they’re majorly swollen.
Thanks!
I LALALALALALLALALALALALALALALALALLALALLALALALALOVE IT! OMG SO IN LOVE WITH THIS! YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YELLOW ALREADY! YUMMMY, SUMMER IS HERE! I LOVE UR BLUSHHHHHH!
U LOT LIKE SUMMER! YAY!
Thanks, Sash 😀
I loveee the summer, so it’s no wonder I like summer colors, too!
Beautiful eyes, not too fond of the blush.
I’m sorry you didn’t like the blush, Esmeralda!
Hey Cristine,
Love ur look Dear, oooops!!but im afraid blush is tooo dark..ok let us ask u,is it looking perfect like sometimes in summer??
It seems u had a DAY on a beach,UR TANNED,REALLY??TELL US.
Luv,
Zzainy..
Thanks Zainy! The blush was hardly visible in real life, it’s so sad that the look fell apart at least in pictures.
I hadn’t gone to the beach yet in this look!
No Cristine,I was asking u like overall of ur skin tone is tanned,so did u spent a day at the beach??(OBVIOUSLY NOT IN THIS LOOK)
Zzainy..
Oh, yes, I’m pretty tan all over naturally (I tanned up a lot when I was 6 years old–first year in California–haven’t lightened up much since!).
Yep, I did spend a day there!
THIS IS PRETTY! i really like it!
it looks so fun for summer AND fun to put on 🙂
Don’t like the Blush.
But the lips are cute 🙂
Thanks Vanessa!
The blush was really tame in person, like very much *not* visible, but oh well.
I actually think that the blush works, it’s just the flash makes it look super bronze!
Hey Winnie! It’s funny how the flash really made it look, because it had such a soft subtle glow in person, lol!
This is so beautiful Christine!! I wore greens today too (but yours is much more fun!). Thank you for adding whether or not they are LE or PRO, and especially the substitutes too!! Makes it so much easier to try and duplicate your looks (and oh I do!!)
Thanks so much, Vanessa! 🙂
i love LOVE love the green mixed with the yellow. i just wish i could pull it off. very pretty!
I actually love the blush looking over the top from the flash! It’s done very well, it makes you look like some sort of summer goddess. Things don’t have to look natural in order to look good! 🙂
Thanks Jenni 🙂 It’s so crazy how it looked in real life vs. in photos!
This is so lovely, Christine! It looks fantastic on you, and definitely very summery!
Thanks, Stacey!
I just love going banannas! And, green espically. Good job! 🙂
Me too, Steph!
Thank you!
Love the color combinations 🙂 Also appreciate the fact that you included possible shade substitutes.
If I’m not mistaken, you applied Fluidline in your lower lashline. What brush did you use to apply it in that area?
Hi Cristina!
I apply fluidline my lower lash line by taking a similar colored pencil liner (Graphblack technakhol for me) and dip the pencil tip into the fluidline. I never use a brush – agitates and makes it so easy to poke my eye out, LOL.
Thanks!
