Lisa Watier Sea Belle Collection for Summer 2009
Lisa Watier Sea Belle Collection for Summer 2009
The Lise Watier summer collection sweeps in on a breeze of fresh sophistication. From St. Tropez to Ibiza, by way of Santorini, the season’s palette was inspired by the world’s famous ports and resorts. Navy blue, turquoise, lagoon green and sea foam white unfurl in a wave of endless nuances, borrowing from light on water or the transparency of water itself. A sea of summer shades enhanced by luxurious textures and contrasting finishes, Sea Belle is presented in packaging with nautical themes and colours. This summer’s beauty is personified by a sun-kissed complexion, an azure gaze, and high-gloss lips – the ideal vacation look for a jaunt to the Riviera this summer.

Love this collection name. 😀 Lagoon is so pretty! I want it. I love their glitter liners and have Cybermint, but they make my eyes red and watery. 🙁 I like the payoff of them but yeah, ouch.
Packaging looks gorgeous, I like the beach quad and the Havana Shimmer.
Thanks for featuring a Canadian brand! I’m planning on buying the blue lagoon eye shine and the lagoon palette, maybe the cybermint glitter liner too.
This look is so dated-looking.
The colors the model is are wearing is GORGEOUS! it looks like the Lagoon palette? It’s pretty! HMMMM…
I think the little photoshopped-in sparkle in the product pictures is really, really funny.
I also think the glitter liner and the Beach quartet are gorgeous.
That model’s eyebrows and eye makeup are so awful that I would never consider purchasing any of their products. What were they thinking??
My thoughts exactly.. And that nose! They need to fire their photoshopper.
I am a little sad that all the releases this summer look like the same colors. I mean, Laura Mercier, Dior and Guerlain anyone?
I agree with you 100%, so many collections look exactly the same this spring/summer.
I didn’t know you guys got LW down there, nice to see a Canadian brand getting some exposure stateside.
Lise Watier photos are always a bit dated and never draw me in, but the products themselves are fantastic.
I bought the blue lagoon eye shine today and folie aqua eye shadow (permanent product being promoted with the collection). The rest of the collection is great too, but I spent my money on other things 🙂
As others have said, it’s great to see a Canadian brand being shown. I’ve got to say though, what is up with the model’s nostrils? Did they really need to photoshop them bigger?
OMG it’s so amazing to see my favorite Canadian brand here. I’m Canadian and love Lise Watier products, they are all amazing quality with a really reasonable price tag, comparable to MAC. Thanks Christine for putting up some Lise Watier, she rocks !
Some of the makeup brands are going over kill with the photoshop. The eyeshadow look reminds me of something on Star Trek.
Ohhh~ I thought LW was exclusive to Canada?
Or are they branched out to the US now?
The stuff that they have, somewhat pricey, but well worth it (at least for the few things I have tried).
I just got the information, so I thought I’d pass it along. I haven’t tried any of the products and am not familiar with their distribution!
If you go to the “where to buy” section on lisewatier.com you can see where it’s sold in the US. I highly recommend the portfolio corrector concealer wheel and eye shine eyeliners (at least as good as UD 24/7).
I didn’t know you covered french canadian brand! It’s nice to some exposure. Her products are very good quality. You should try it Christine.
I haven’t seen the products in person, but I thought I’d pass along the collection information.
