We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Well the eyeshadows remind me of Lumière d’Artifices from Chanel ! On the whole, this collection looks a bit ” cheap ” ( low cost ) to me, but I want to see it in person one never knows. Packagings are pretty, but I do prefer Eclat du Soir, Grand Bal or the M.A.C Holiday collection, the Yves Saint- Laurent collection looks pretty too.

OY! I don’t drink “Shiny, Disco Balls,” I only play the song to torture people. *grin* Topic: I wish PR releases for a collection would show more of, you know, the COLLECTION! What I’m seeing here, thus far, isn’t motivating me to hunt down further pictures.

I was going to say the same! The *only* one I feel the slightest bit motivated to keep an eye out for is the 5 pan shadow in Ruby Affair (but only because I’m obsessed with red shadows).

Same here, it kind of looks… alive? Like something is gonna crawl out of the pan 😡

That being said, $25 for a holiday special sounds fair to me! Unlike some of Guerlain price tags.

Those single eyeshadows are some gorgeous colors. I like that they don’t look too warm. It seems like a lot of the holiday eyeshadows I’ve been seeing so far are very warm and red-based. To bad I haven’t really heard great things about Lancome’s eyeshadow formula.

I even like the lipglosses colors. 🙂

I just went on lancome’s website and it says for many if not all of the holiday products that they are no longer available. I chatted with a lady using the online chat feature and she said they are being phased out already.

How am I supposed to get my unneccesary eyeshadow in Ruby Affair now? 🙁
