Our Lady Gaga Makeup Line Launch Guide features all of the information you’ll need to know about her upcoming brand!  You’ll find the release date and time, pre-order details, and a look at the shades/products that will be available below.

Earlier this week, Lady Gaga officially announced the debut of her beauty brand, Haus Laboratories. Gaga knows it’s a crowded space with lots of brands: “[t]he last thing the world needs is another beauty brand… but that’s too bad.” The brand says that it’s vision is to “spread kindness, bravery, and creativity.” They want it to be all about self-expression by your own rules. They brand is working to build a “supportive, empowering, inclusive community.”

Lady Gaga Haus Laboratories Release Date

Lady Gaga’s new makeup brand will make its debut on July 15th through hauslabs.com and on Amazon.com for pre-order with orders to be fulfilled in September.

Pre-Order Information

Haus Labs will be available exclusively through Amazon and direct at hauslabs.com. The pre-made trios and duos will go live on July 15th at 3AM EST, which coincides with Amazon’s Prime Day.  On July 15th, you’ll be able to pre-order the products you want, and then they will ship to you this fall in September.

The reason for the early debut (but later order fulfillment) is to unveil the new Haus Labs brand on Prime Day, which is features “new concepts.”  It will also give the brand the ability to forecast and fulfill demand without long waiting periods between restocks. Per a recent interview with WWD, it appears that this will enable Haus Labs to “make more products if preorders exceed expectations” so there might be less chance of “selling out.”  If this is the launch you’ve been waiting for, you’ll still want to place your pre-order sooner rather than later.

If you’re unfamiliar with Amazon’s Prime Day, it is now a two-day event (July 15th and 16th) for Prime Members that features deep discounts and hot deals on a variety of products along with new products that launch just for Prime Members.  You can sneak peek Prime Day deals here.

The Haus of Rose B and Metalhead look interesting. I, too, would prefer items sold separately, so I could choose my own “artistry.” I’ll likely buy 2 powders and 2 lip liners. If my math is correct, if buying 2 trio bundles, it’s $4 cheaper to buy the same shades in duo bundles ($98 for 2 trios vs $94 for 3 duos). This does not take into account any packaging specific to buying predetermined bundles, which may be worth the extra $4.

The sales pitch about individuality, creativity and self expression doesn’t really jive with launching a bunch of premade sets with attached personas. It feels very self contradicting to me.

This, and the fact that Lady Gaga is a celebrity with tons of money: a two month pre-order? She can afford to stock a warehouse prior to launch so customers don’t wait two months. (There’s no real connection to Prime Day, either, if I’m being nit picky. They just said “we’re doing it because we want to do it”.)
