Korres Look: Greens & Coral
Korres Look: Green & Coral for Spring
I did this look using some of Korres’ highlighted products for summer — #42 Eyeshadow (a beautiful summery green) and #45 Coral Lipstick (a moisturizing orange-coral with a glossy sheen). I also used several other Korres products to bring it all together, but this was the first time I’ve really done a full look using just Korres products. I loved the blendability of the eyeshadows–smooth, pigmented, and easy to use–and the coverage of the Wild Rose foundation was a nice and buildable.
As you can tell, I was test-driving quite a few products in this look — the eyeshadows, eyeliner, mascara, blush, and foundation!
You will need the following…
- Eyes: Benefit Stay Don’t Stray (neutral base), Korres #44 Eyeshadow (light chartreuse green), Korres #42 Eyeshadow (sky blue), Korres #84 Eyeshadow (dark blue), MAC Vanilla Eyeshadow (soft highlighter), Korres #12 Eyeliner Pencil (aqua), Korres Abysynnia Mascara (black)
- Face: Korres Wild Rose Foundation (WRF2), Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder (translucent)
- Cheeks: Korres #44 Blush (coral orange)
- Lips: Korres #45 Coral Lipstick (soft coral), Korres #33 Nude Lipgloss (sheer champagne)
- Brushes: 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 226 (fluffy crease brush), 219 (pointed crease brush), 116 (dense blush brush)
For eyes, start by applying Stay Don’t Stray as your eyeshadow base all over the eye area with the 249. Using the 239, apply #44 eyeshadow on the lower lid. Apply #42 Eyeshadow on the middle of the lid with the 239 brush. Next, apply #84 eyeshadow into the crease with the 226, lightly blending outwards and onto the outer lid. Blend Vanilla eyeshadow with the crease shade and highlight the brow bone. Bring everything together by applying #12 eyeliner on the lower lash line. Finish by sweeping lashes with Abysinnia mascara.
For cheeks, apply #44 Coral blush to the apples of the cheeks and sweep upwards towards the temple with the 116.
For lips, apply #45 Coral lipstick first, and then layer #33 Nude lipgloss for a complementing lip.
Wow – madly in love with the color of that eyeliner. The pop it gives to the whites of your eyes is crazy. I’m going to have to get it! I’m a big fan of the mascara as a more natural-looking formula, too.
It’s definitely a great eye-opening shade!
Sorry girl, I’m just not a big fan of pastel eyes…but the lip looks fabulous!
Thanks, Shannon!
i loved the blue…
Thank you, Fernanda!
LOVEEEEE the lips!!  I’ve been loving the Korres lipstick swatches!
Thanks, Kate 🙂
Christine, how is the staying power with that liner? It’s a gorgeous color.
Still testing it, but good so far.
Wow I love this look! I like the coolness in the eyes and I think you matched the lip color very nicely. Gorgeous!
Thank you, Tina Marie!
This is really quite lovely!!!! I love Korres products!
Oh I have a question – I noticed you were wearing WRF2 – do you think WRF1 would be better for an NC20?
Yeah, I’d go with WRF1… I find WRF2 is pretty close, maybe a smidgen too dark.
Thanks, Andrea!
Not a fan of the pastels, but the lip is gorgeous!
Thanks, Erin!
omg this look is so beautiful your eyes look so awake and lips are so pretty perfect combo!
Thank you, Melanie!
sorry but im not a fan of the pastel eyes.
everything else looks amazing as usual on you though!
Sorry you didn’t like it, Sara!
i love this look! it’s so soft yet so distinct. thank you!!
Christine! I just wanted to tell you, I love your blog! And I really love Korres! :] I love the liner that is on your lower lashline! its like a seafoam green!
Aw, thank you, Amanda!
i love the soft wash of es that u used. but im not feeling the eyebrow color. thanx christine@
The highlighter color or the color I used for my brows? Vanilla is so pretty in real life, but I forget it photographs poorly.
Omg it’s so light and pretty!
Thank you!
You look so ethereal, Christine! 🙂
Aww! Thanks, Wendy!
ohhhhh. That eyeliner is gawgeous with your coloring and eye color. (luckily we have similar coloring 🙂 )
Going to check that out!
Thanks, Jody!
Hmmmmm I was gonna buy these, I even visited Sephora and was still if-y about them, but after seeing them in this look I don’t think I’d use them often! Maybe as gifts since their on sale.
But I think they look nice on you, and a coral lip is so you, it suits you in all the summer looks you’ve done I’m totally loving it!
Thanks, LNU!
Your eyelashes look great!
Thanks, Wendy!
love the look! but i have to say, that eyeliner REALLY makes it. definitely in my cart!
Thank you, Karin!
That eyeshadow makes your eyes look BRIGHT! Beautiful as always.
Thanks, Meheen!
i like your style a lot but the only suggestion that i have for u is for your eyebrows, u draw them too thick, i think ur face would look nicer with a softer eyebrow, just a sugestion, id love to see u without the contoured brow 🙂 pretty please???
Thanks for your suggestion!
