If I add a new product, then I only add one but keep the rest the same. If I want to add a second product into my routine, I try to wait two to three weeks after adding the first one so that it’s a gradual process to switch over.

If i like skincare product ,i generally dont switch to new one.
If i want to switch to new one ,I read lot of reviews and introduce to my routine…however i dont try too many new products at a time bcos I do not know what is working out or what is not
I introduce new products one at a time so I can make sure my skin doesn’t react badly to it. It’s harder to determine which product causes your skin to react if you’re using more than one new product at a time.
I also ease in one product at a time while keeping everything else the same. It’s easier to see if I’m having any reactions or anything. If it’s multiple products, I slowly add them in one by one.
*shifty eyes* I kind of just slap them on when I feel like it, to be honest. 😛
That being said, I only really select stuff that claims to be/is formulated for/looks like it will be OK for sensitive skin, so I don’t tend to get any reactions.
Open up container and slap on face. Get angry if I don’t see immediate results.
I also try the one product at a time and keep the others the same. Thankfully I do not seem to have sensitive skin.
I really only add in new products if either 1. I noticed a problem, spent some time researching and bought a fix or 2. I got a few sample. Either way I just dive in with the trying.
Definitely, one product at a time. I also think it is very important to give the new product time to actually have an affect on the skin. It takes approximately four weeks for a new set of cells to reach the surface so what seemed OK in the beginning might become a problem after awhile and visa-versa.
Because I know my skin pretty well, I often don’t get crazy with products I know either won’t work or have trigger ingredients. That being said I usually keep everything else the same.
I do the same as you. I have sensitive skin, so adding one thing at a time, and gradually, instantly lets me know if I’ll react to a product.
I jump in feet first! If I have a number of products to try, then I’ll do it all at once! Act now, think later.
Generally I just dive in 🙂
I add one thing at a time. Giving each new thing at least two weeks before adding anything else. That way I can see if my skin will react.
I introduce new skin care products one at a time so I know which ones are working for me and those that aren’t.
I so agree with the comments of introducing only one new product at a time. When you do this you understand how the new products work with others you are using. And if for some reason there is a negative reaction, you know it’s the new product! Then you don’t have to change all the products to determine the culprit.
