This is a really hard one for me. I have a solid four or five blushes I use religiously…I guess I would say MAC’s Hipness. I think it would go with most looks. Runner up would be MAC’s Azalea Blossom, since I wear a lot of purple.
Urban Decay Video blush! Ever since I got it I’ve basically worn it everyday anyway lol.
Surrat La Vie En Rose – ridiculously expensive since it doesn’t include the case either, but it’s the most natural-looking blush on me
Hands down it has to be Urban Decay afterglow blush in “Fetish”. A great neutral balance of not to pink & not to brown. I used to be a loyal Tarte Amazonian clay blush user (Exposed, ofcourse), but for some reason it started looking chalky on me. Maybe the formula has changed?
Black Radiance’s Artisan Color Baked Blush in TOASTED ALMOND.
I wear it most of the time, anyway, so I’d be perfectly content wearing it all year long. ❄???
Toasted almond is a beautiful shade 🙂
In all likelihood, it would probably be UD Afterglow Blush in Rapture. It can appear cool or warm, seems to morph with whatever else is on face. A year ago, I would’ve said Nyx Pinched, which while I still love that one, it doesn’t have that crazy morphing thing goin’ on!
Now, if I owned TF Pink Glow, oh yeah, that would be it!
You know Nancy, I have both Pink Glow and Rapture. I prefer Rapture a little bit over Pink Glow. Maybe it has to do with the packaging too -maybe. I’m not into the big “face case” . I tend to forget about it. But, Rapture wins here for me.
True, the size of it in that palette would *maybe* begin to be a pain, but I really hope that Pink Glow comes out as a single one day!
Of all my blushes that I actually own; Rapture is #1, followed closely by MAC Burnt Pepper (I have BP on today).
Pretty! I just got Burnt Pepper a few weeks ago. Such a gorgeous shade too. This is a tough question!
Impossible question, LOL! I have a difficult time wearing the same shade of ANYTHING even 2-3 days in a row!
Hourglass incandescent electra
I feel like I’d go for something pretty tame as then it wouldn’t matter the season or situation, and so the first one that popped into my head was Tarte’s Exposed blush. It looks very natural on me and works with my super pale skin tone, and it’s buildable so I could be more heavy-handed if necessary.
Josie Maran Poppy Paradise or Tarte Tipsy, I think.
I love that color tipsy! It’s the only color of that brand that I own but I won it in a sephora gift card giveaway! I picked that color, I’m so pleased that I did it’s so beautiful!!
Peach pop by Clinique. It always gives me a fresh-faced look.
Hourglass Mood Exposure
That’s been my go-to one for fall/winter. Soooo nice.
Revlon Bronzilla!
Exposed (Tarte)
Probably NARS Douceur. It goes with anything!
Loreal Baby Blossom. (Dupe for Benefit Dandelion) I think of it as a highlighter/brightener.
I love my blushes, so it’s hard for me to choose only one. It could be NARS Amour or Milani Berry Amore.
Hmm, a tough one. If only for a year, it would probably be Please Yourself from MAC (I know it’s a shimmer central, but it is not that apparent on the cheeks when applied with the light hand and the color really suits my skin tone) or UD Rapture.
Chanel’s Rose Initiale
Tom Ford Frantic Pink for me. From all the blushes I own, I am about to hit the pan on this one.
A peachy coral. Maybe Marionnaud’s Dahlia Coral?
Sleek rose gold or La Femme Terracotta.
Dr. Perricone No Blush Blush — tried it recently, and really love it. So natural looking!
MAC Blushbaby. I wear this pretty much everyday anyways
Only one – it would be Tarte Natural Beauty. If I couldn’t use that, it would be MAC Sweet Sentiment.
HG Mood Exposure
Korres #15 Natural. Although I am keeping mine preciously locked away because there is an emerging dip in it and I haven’t found a dupe for it. :/ I’m holding onto what little I have left.
Nars Doucer, it’s a very natural dusty pinky Brown on me and goes well with almost every lip/eye color combo I wear. I think I read somewhere that it is discontinued so I am going to take care of it like its a family heirloom.
I just hit pan on NYX soft spoken. Once I’m done with it (imagine actually finishing a blush) I’m going to try some of the MAC dupes listed as the lasting power is lacking. I would wear a blush in a shade like this for a year.
Probably, Milani Luminoso or NARS Almeria
I used to only have one blush- L’oreal true match in Precious Peach. I never got tired of it until I hit pan. I should repurchase that…
From my current collection, Tarte Exposed it what comes to mind!
Oooooh, this is tricky, because my most versatile blushes aren’t necessarily my favorites!
Probably Tarte Exposed if I chose a powder blush, and Josie Maran Coconut Water Gelee in Poppy Paradise if I went with a non-powder. The first is a neutral plummy rose on my VF-N/W skin, and the second is a sheer pink flush that stays put until I take it off. (It once survived a full day of snorkeling and other beach shenanigans!)
Estee Lauder’s Brazen Bronze
Nars Amour. I’ve got dozens of blushes but I’m always complimented when I wear this one. Who doesn’t want compliments?
Clinique nude pop. It’s pretty natural and neutral on me, and I can doctor it up with some highlighters when I want to change it up.
Mac warm soul, but I’ve heard they changed it with the new packaging.
Yes, they definitely did. The new one has noticeably less pink and more terracotta/bronze there. I brought my 2012-2013 version of Warm Soul to MAC store and compared it to the new one there.
Mufe hd blush 225! Favourite
Sleek Antique.. lots more pricey picks in my stash, but this one blends so well and looks incredibly natural on me. Goes with everything.
Milani Luminoso!
Mac Sincere.
My question is WHO COULD DO THAT? It would have to go with red, purple, brown, nude, orange, and the rare pink. (Note the conspicuous absence of coral. I’ll leave them to you, Ms. C)
So, it has to be pretty innocuous, yet fit with a range of colors. Think I’d vote for one I almost forewent. Nars Madly. ‘Seashell pink,’ ? Not quite. Never got the color description, so didn’t look at it. When I finally got it, I found it very versatile.
Oooo… tough call. I would have to go with Urban Decay Indecent. It’s a matte peach, so I could cheat and add highlighter and bronzer to change the dimension of this blush. Plus it goes with every lip and eye combo. Hourglass Mood Exposure and Chanel Alazene are very close behind, but Indecent just inched ahead due to being matte. 🙂
Chanel Pink Explosion. I have several pinks and plums and it’s always the one I come back to. It’s the most flattering on me. If I’m tired or not feeling well, it always lights up my face.
I like to switch up my blush (like my looks) but if I had to pick one – UD Afterglow in Rapture. It’s a solid performer that goes well with any cool, neutral, or warm look. It can be build up to change intensity without looking overdone.
That’s why I love it too: It seriously MORPHS!
Mac Sincere
Tarte Exposed
Tarte Exposed!! its such a nice nude pink that goes with everything
i think it would be Kevyn Aucoin natura. it just goes with everything and i wear it often.
This may seem strange but my favourite blush is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting POWDER in Mood Light, not the Mood Exposure blush but the powder. I am so fair I make Casper look tanned. So this is perfect for me because it gives a super natural flush without ever looking clown-like.
Tarte Exposed! Actually it’s my go to blush and I’ve repurchased it twice!
Tough question Christine!! If I was picking out of my own collection, NARS Douceur, but if I was buying new, Inglot #10.
Illamasqua Zygomatic, which is so much harder to get in Canada now. 🙁
Tarte Exposed, because it goes with any makeup look. It can be worn lightly for a natural look or built up for more oomph. I can change the look of it with different color highlighters over it. It’s long-lasting.
Close second: Milani Rose Blush in Coral Cove. It’s super-flattering on me. It works with most makeup looks. It’s long lasting.
That is a hard one because my blush changes depending on what is on my eyes. If I had to choose I would go with Nars Madly or Charlotte Tilbury’s Ecstasy.
What monster would enforce such a rule! I’d go with my Armani Sheer Blush in #2. It wouldn’t last a year though as I hit pan on it last year! I need to find a replacement because it’s discontinued. It’s the perfect blush, it’s buildable, and it makes my rosacea covered cheeks look nigh on perfect even in a flare up!
Urg, this is so hard! I’ve gotten to love blush so much in the past 6 months or so. I’d have to say NARS Madly, it’s a beautiful finish, neutral enough to go with pretty much any eye or lip look, and yet has enough “oomph” to give my complexion some life back.
Maybelline Master Hi-light in Mauve
Wow what a question… If I had to choose of all my blushes I think it would be Bobbi Brown Nude Peach, its a blush that when I take it out to use I have to force myself to put it away otherwise I’d use it all the time…
MAC Brit Wit cream blush
NYX Red, it’s the blush I wear 99% of the time, it looks like my own skin blushing so it goes with most looks!
I have been using Bourjois cream blush in 01 for about 6 months now… practically every day. Most days I top it up with Rimmel’s humble Santa Rose.
( I have Mac and Nars, zpalettes with Benefit blushes, Tarte exposed and dollface in about 6 handbags, various Milanis, Maybellines, number 7, seventeen and about 10 little round pots by bourjois but the TWO above are what I have pretty much used this year)
Guerlain – Power blush in wonder violet (Bloom of Rose – Rose aux Joues’ Blush). I’m also fond of Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Rose Bronze when I want a more subtle color. Of the two – I would live in Guerlain’s blush hands down.
Either TheBalm’s Frat Boy or Benefit’s Majorette. Both are gorgeous light peaches with a satin finish. They look so natural on my extremely pale, cool skin.
Lancome Blush Subtil in Miel Glace’.
Natio Sunkissed mosaic blush – I just started using it (a new product) and it is fabulous.
Nars in Madly 🙂 its just one that i’ve been gravitating towards lately
What a fun question! I’d wear Smashbox Softlights in Prism. It’s the perfect super-pale cool pink for me and yet goes with everything.
Nars orgasm. Perfect for day and night, and gives the perfect flush.
I recently purchased Hikari blush in Bikini, and it’s perfect!
I recently purchased Hikari blush in Bikini. It’s perfect!
Soft Peach ? by Clarins!
Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer #11
Mac Melba! It’s the perfect amount of color to show up but looks totally natural when I want it to! Great warm color that isn’t too orange!
Kiko’ Rebel Romantic Bouncy Blush in 02 Adorable Pink, lovely colour, goes with most things.
I probably gotta go Tom Ford Love Lust too. When I’m stumped, I go for that usually. You can tell I’m a Temptalia reader. ?
Easy. Tarte Exposed. I wear it almost everyday now.
Tom Ford Wicked or Frantic Pink!
Boring and old fashioned me, Nars Orgasm.
Jordana “Blushing Rose”
Milani Luminoso! Nikkie from Youtube – NikkieTutorials loves it too! It goes with everything and also works on my light medium skin! I never would have thought I’d love a drugstore brand!
Very few duplicate answers!! Only two I saw were HG Mood Exposure and UD Rapture and maybe Tarte’s Exposed!! It all depends on one’s skintone. I had a beauty supply store square shaped blush named “Santa Fe”, like the name, it was a southwestern palette type of shade, pinky peachy brown. I can’t even find it now, my poor organizational skills, but I never found a dupe for it. Closest might be MAC prism, doesn’t look like much in pan, but is beautiful on my fair skin. Maybe a drop pinkier or mauvier than Santa Fe, but close. If anyone knows of this Santa Fe color, and how to buy these no name colors, or a dupe for it. I’d be grateful!
MAC Brit Wit
Tarte Dollface.
Benefit Coralista
Mac coppertone
nars madly definitely. it’s natural but very flattering
NARS Orgasm.
If I could use only one blush for a year I’d choose Nars ‘Amour’and if something should happen to that it would be Armani.
MAC Crazed Imagination from the RHPS collection. I find it a neutral enough color while still being pigmented enough when I pack it on (I like my blush on the not-so-subtle side) and it’s a shade that looks nice with pretty much any eye look I’ve ever paired it with.
Nars Mata Hari! J’adore this color!
Lord this hard. I guess Mac raisin blush.
MAC’s Full of Joy, I think really cool toned (lilac based) pale blushes work best with my NC15 skin, and I like that it can create pretty unique looks. Also I am a big fan of frost finishes. It is probably a limiting colour to choose but I like the unnatural look of it.
MAC Cantaloupe (the perfect brownish-peach neutral).
If I could pick one blush for a year I would go with Mac Melba. I wear it almost every day. It goes perfectly with my skin tone. I’m very fair with yellow undertones and natural red hair and freckles. Melba always gives me a great flush of color. I recommend it for all red heads!
Easy…Nars Luster.
I absolutely love reading everyone’s choices! Can’t wait to go check out a few I’ve tried. So fun!
*never tried
I used to be addicted to Mars Orgasm but now there are several blushes I like, including Clinique Peach Pop, Berry Pop, and UD Afterglow in Rapture. Since I’m limited to just one, I’d have to pick Peach Pop by Clinique but I would pout for a year,I think. 😉
Tarte’s Exposed. Without a doubt, it’s the best everyday blush for me and it’s good at any time of the year. It’s my holy grail. :3c
Fashion Fair chocolate chip.
Melba from Mac. It’s universal, you can wear this with anything!!!!
Hands down for me would be Benefit’s Dallas or Tarte Exposed. Classics for me.
Mac Melba!(: or Mac peaches blush. Milani luminoso is a contender too!
I have so many blushes that I love and I honestly change up my blushes very often. But if I could only choose one for a year, I would want to pick something neutral so that it goes with any look.
Stila Convertible Color in Lillium would be perfect, and I love it so much! I used this blush so much that the writing has rubbed off on the back of the compact. It is very well loved and I will repurchase when I run out completely, even though I have tons of other blushes! 😀
It’ll be Peaches from MAC. So versatile!?
Korres Natural
Illamasqua naked rose
Illamasqua Sophie.
It would be Hourglass Diffused Heat!
This blush is wonderful.
NARS unlawful, no annoying gold shimmer blends so easy and despite looking bold in the pan suits my pale skin well. However I do love a blush so it is tricky.
I’d go with Luminous Flush from Hourglass (the one on the left of the 3-blush palette). It’s my go-to. I like a subtley luminous blush and this one suits me best 🙂
Nars albatross or taj mahal. They go with every makeup look no matter what, they also eliminate the need for a highlight since they do both, and you only need one tiny tap to do your whole face. Nars blushes for life.
For a couple years, Benefit blush in Dandelion WAS the only blush I wore! I’d say probably that or Milani baked blush in Luminoso, something nice and subtle but brightening 🙂
MAC Honey Jasmine (it was LE) and I’m still trying to find an exact dupe for it that’s not crazy expensive.
Illamasqua Zygomatic
i’ve been loving clinique peach pop recently so that would be a nice pick. it makes you look really fresh and healthy!
Milani Bella Rosa Baked Powder Blush
What a difficult question. I tend to change up my blushes for the seasons but maybe NARS Oasis, I just bought it and I love its pinky nude plum tone. It also has some shimmer so works as a highlight. I almost picked exposed but Oasis just is a bit more special.
RMS Beauty, Lip2Cheek in Smile!
Milani’s Luminoso Blush. All day, err day!
NARS Taos – Universal complimentary shade for all shades – women of color.
Probably Bellápierre Suede. It’s a wonderful natural matte that gives me a natural flush and applies so evenly! I havent use it recently but it’s time to take it out again 🙂
I think I’d go with Sin by NARS, although this is a hard choice due to me loving so many and sometimes you need something stronger, darker, and/or something more natural, more cool or warm like a pink vs a coral to match the rest of your look…
I decided finally on Sin because NARS makes the best blushes in my personal opinion, they stay on long and true to color and also because Sin is just my perfect color! I can go very natural with it or build it up for more drama and it has a very slight, very natural sheen to it. Finally, I chose Sin because if it just happened to be my only cosmetic product I could apply it everywhere, not just my cheeks but on my eyes and lips as well and look great!
(Runners Up were NARS “Crazed” at #2 and NARS “Mata Hari” at #3 and NARS “Deep Throat” at #4, and finally, from the LE MAC Hello Kitty Collection, is “Tippy” at #5 to round it out to a solid Top 5!!)
It’s gonna sound a little boring but it’s my go to blush when in a rush or when I can’t think of what to wear and that’s blushbaby by Mac. On my nc15 colouring it adds a flush of light natural flush that it just goes with everything.
Tarte Exposed. It works perfectly with my skintone and it’s neutral for me or Frat Boy of The Balm.
I went about reading all the replies and was wondering how often would NARS O pop up – but it doesn’t seem to be very popular.
My pick will be MAC Blushbaby – its like a no brainier shade OR Becca Beach Tint shimmer soufflé in Watermelon/Moonstone – which gives a very natural looking flush.
Silk Naturals Maybe Baby.
