If you could create your own matte eyeshadow palette, what would you put in it?

If you could create your own matte eyeshadow palette, what would you put in it? What existing matte eyeshadows (from any and all brands) would you put in it?

I would probably go Inglot or Make Up For Ever, but I’d stick with one brand so that the overall texture and feel was the same. For the sake of affordability, Inglot. I don’t remember any of the numbers off hand, but I would do a mix of 2-3 neutrals, 1 taupe, 2-3 earth tones, and 2-3 pops of color.

I don’t know specific brands but I’d put two thirds neutrals (browns/pinks/taupes/tans) and the rest colorful (deep purple/magenta/deep olive) and then a gunmetal grey and a rich black.

umm… I already “created” an Inglot matte palette lol, it’s the ‘power of matte’ so it has every possible shade 🙂 But do I use it? Sadly, not often enough….

I’d probably mix ans match since my favorite matte shadows are from various brands. I’d put in lots of Inglot like #348, #349, #391, #342, #329, #358, which are all blacks, greys and neutrals. Other favorites are MUFE’s Beige Brown, Anthrazite, Beige and Flesh Pink, Urban Decay’s Perversion and if course a bit of MAC like Quarry, Blanc Type and Signed and Sealed. I would also include p2 Grey Pleasure, its a lovely grey/brown/lilac shade by a brand in Germany.

I would definitely create one with either all matte Two-Faced colours or all UD matte colours in highlight colours, neutrals, taupes, browns, soft purples, grey, and even some soft matte pink colour. Sigh… I would want the packaging similar to the Naked 1 palette. 🙂

MAC- Carbon, Dark Edge, Ochre, Blanc Type
MUFE- 5(bight coral),18(bright orange),75(hot pink),92(deep bright purple),72(bright blue turquios)

I would need a smoky, medium toned, taupe-ish gray but I can’t think of one off the bat so any suggestions are welcome!

I don’t like all matte looks, but I would like to have a small matte palette on hand to work with. I would have a matte highlight shade, a light brown, a medium brown, taupe, and a grey.

I would make sure to include a smooth and PIGMENTED matte white eyeshadow, which is more difficult to find than any other shade in my experience. I’ve finally found Inglot #373 which I absolutely love. Best white I’ve ever used. I would also include a basic highlight shade that can be used to slightly lighten the inner corners and help accentuate the brows and blend out crease colors. Love Inglot #330. A great matte black would be important for me too, which Sugarpill Bulletproof wins hands down in my book!
