If you could create any eyeshadow shade, what would it be?

If you could create any eyeshadow shade, what would it be? What’s the closest brand/shade to it?

.

A velvety smooth, lightly shimmered fuchsia-burgundy-violet. It looks awesome in my head, I swear!

Thanks to Kpenn for this question!

Completely agree! All the reds I’ve found are too orange (like MAC Red Brick or UD Gash) or too purple (MAC Cranberry). I love almost any shade of red, but what I would do for a true, or maybe slightly blue, red. A frost would be nice, or maybe just a smooth one with light shimmer. My imaginary shade is like the e/s equivalent of Chanel Rouge Allure Laque in Dragon!

A deep and bright teal with teal glitter and shimmer, as well as gold sparkle… I’m imagining it as if MAC pigment teal and reflects antique gold glitter had a baby! It would be the most gorgeous shade and I’d wear it every day.

I’m totally on board with the fuchsia-burgundy-violet. If I could dream up a quint..it would have that envisioned color of yours, an antiqued copper color..a light champagne-gold…a cool toned shimmery taupe, and then a pearly neutral highlight color. It would be..epic. Lol.

A mauve taupe / gold duochrome. A while ago I was frankening nail polish, and I got this colour by mixing a purple polish with a gold one, then I started thinking, it’d probably look nice if there was an eyeshadow like this.

I would create a shadow with tiny, shiny particles that would reflect light like some velvety flower petals do (think Saintpaulias up close). The colour would be red plum, deep and darker like eggplant, but with no blue in it. Another one would be a rich and warm olive with jade/teal/turquoise rainbow duochrome.

A fleshy-pinky-lavender one – smth like Sinful e/s in Off Limits or MAC paint pot Girl Friendly.

Also, I’d create a dark bluish black… absolutely love the color.

1. Just a plain ol’ red. Ben Nye and MAC Pro should slightly darken their true reds. Matte finish.
2. Mix MacPro Atlantic Blue w/ Full Force Violet pigment & make a bright dark purple with blue undertones. Satin finish.
3. Dark blue taupe in satin finish.

Maybe I’d create a really dark black shadow with a hunter green or dark teal duochrome…

Or the exact dupe of Woodwinked but with less shimmer, perhaps… By the way, I think I might have found a dupe of Woodwinked in an old L’Oreal rose skintones eyeshadow quad that was given as a gift. I hate the Philippines for not making that shade available here!!!

A nice, opaque true red.

A series of neutral colors(white, black, beige, etc) with opalescent duochrome. It would being able to imitate the looks of different types of opals with eye makeup. You know, beige with a very cool lavender reflect, dark brown with a deep red. Some MAC colors have similar tones, but often the duochrome is lost(club, I’m looking at you!) when you actually apply it.

1. A super-red! A shade that is so red it’ll blow my head away. It would be two versions, a matte and a satin. Dunno if there’s anyone that have such a red in their shades. But I think Illamasqua got something like it.

2. A very intense petrol shade, like lancôme’s but even more awsome!

Right now I can think of 2…a cherry red color and a perfect lime green, I think the closest colors I’ve seen are MAC’s Metamorph and You’re Fresh.

A satin-like dusty lilac rose colour. Lol… I know that sounds so boring and there are loads of pinks out there but none of them match the colour I have in my mind. MAC’s Royal Tour (I think) was close.

An intensely pigmented, dark almost black grey with intense pink glitter. Also NO fall out and I want the glitter to be full-power on the eyes without dissapearing!!! I have been looking for somthing similar forever… please tell me if you know of anything like this!

@lisa: I actualy own young punk and its not exactly what im thinking. Think typograpic or even carbon with intense glitter… I mean huge glitter!!! O=. But thankyou anyway (=

A light cool bronze with gold shimmer. Its a color in my 88 palette which i love, but i would love to have it as a MAC eyeshadow 🙁 Its a great neutral lid color on my skin

Haylie Avatar

A perfect kind creamy white eyeshadow that’s not frosty but has just a bit of shimmer.

It’s Lancome’s Honeymoon! I just wish it had more pigment in the color to make it look exactly like how it does in the pan.

I would create a color called “peacock black”. When you look at the colour in certain light it would be black but as you move around the color would multi-chromatic(?)… a glossy metallic sheen with a reflective rainbow quality.

whoa! hard one….it would be yellow, definitely, but not yellow like Chrome Yellow, something softer and girlier, like yellow cake frosting, but not exactly…it would have shimmer, of course! it wouldn’t be loaded with it, just enough to make you go “there’s something to this that makes it different, but I can’t quite put my finger on it!” It would definitelye bring out any eye color, in my head, the most complemented colors would be chocolate brown and blue, but all of them would look beautiful 🙂
