How do you keep your brows in tip-top shape?

How do you keep your brows in tip-top shape? What do you do? How often?

I tweeze every 3-4 days (or before I take a lot of photos, if that’s the case).  I fill in with MAC Espresso eyeshadow if I wear makeup.

Thanks to CeeBee for today’s question!

I pluck the top off once in a while, they get too dramatic looking for me. I don’t fill them in, they are dark enough for me. I am pretty happy with my eyebrows, they don’t require much more at all.

I have really thick dark brows. I tweeze every other day and trim them once a week. and when doing my makeup I set them with Mac’s brow set in girl boy. It helps make them match my strawberry blonde hair instead of looking so dark!

I tweeze and trim once a week, and I fill them in lightly when I wear makeup and when I know pictures will be taken. My brows sometimes look too light in flash photography.

i get my brows threaded and trimmed about every 2-3 weeks, and i tweeze any stray hairs i come across in between. my brows are pretty thick (even though i get them thinned a bit) so i dont need to fill them in.

I have permanant makeup for my eyebrows, got it than ages ago so I don’t have to bother with filling them in. I tweeze them once a week and once a month I go see my esthetician. That’s about it!:)

I usually get mine waxed and trimmed every 4-6 weeks. I have naturally thick eyebrows and don’t have to fill them unless I really want them to stand out. However, this last time the girl did them way too thin, so I’ll be filling them until they grow back lol.

I trim them every few days, I thread them once every 10 days or so and I groom them twice day. I no longer go an Esthetician because they have butchered my brows on too many occasions trying to get them to be fashionable — then I learned that my brows just need to look good on my face and whan may be trendy doesn’t always look good on me.

i tweeze (and cut) them often like you and even if i forget to tweeze, i use bobbi brown’s brow gel in mahogany almost, it looks more natural than shadows, easy to apply, fills the blanks when some of the hair fall, shapes them beautifully (as my lashes are curly like my hair) and stays put even in rainy days:D Also my mother and my friends are addicted:)

I tweeze probably every other day – just the odd stray hairs after I brush my teeth. And I fill them in with Benefit Brow Zings wax (total HG)

I only tweez when neccessary, beush them every day and fill them in with sephoras brown-powder-trio. no waxing, no brow-bar appointments 🙂

I actually trim my eye brows whenever I can tell they’re getting out of hand. My eye brows are curly!? It used to be annoying until I realized I could trim them with mini scissors. I used to wax when I was younger, but my brows are pretty blonde. I find that I haven’t had to wax my brows in the last few years at all (I’m 25) because they simply stopped growing back. I tweeze any noticeable strays and leave the rest. Life’s too short to fret about the blonde ones that only I can see.

I work at a skincare/airbrush makeup studio and my boss specializes in sugaring (lasts longer than shaving and plucking) so i have her do my brows.

Marina Avatar

Honestly, Christine, i don’t understand why you even think you should fill in your brows (jelousy speaking!). Now, I have to do it cause i don’t have enough material in them to make one decent brow 🙁

I trim them once a week then wax, pluck and thread every 2 weeks, it’s a lot of work but the results are worth it, after all your eyebrows are the frame to your face! 😀

I tweeze and trim every 2 or 3 weeks(they have become quite thin and sparse with age!!) and fill them in with Maybelline Define A Brow.

I’m a compulsive plucker lol. I tweeze whenever I see stray hairs. I trim about once a week. Recently I’ve started experimenting with different ways of filling them in. I’ve been using brow powder & stencils for years, but now I’m trying out pencils.

Kitty Avatar

I don’t!
I’m 18. I look young. If I pluck them a lot it looks weird and overdone so I just don’t. They’re not too bad, and I don’t take a lot of pictures of my face close-up anyway. (:

As a cosmetologist, I wax my brows myself, tweeze when needed, and trim longer hairs with scissors. Sometimes I dye them a darker brown. When I wear makeup, I pencil them in and give them a good brushing with a child’s toothbrush (it’s the perfect size and much softer and denser than a regular eyebrow brush.) to remove any excess product and to get all the hairs in the right direction. It’s a lot of time and work, but I really enjoy grooming my brows!

I try to get to an electrolycist when I can (I shudder to think what sort of unibrow I’d have, otherwise), but recently I’ve just been plucking and filling in a little scar-caused bald spot. I have liked the few times I’ve gotten threading done on them, so I’m trying to find a permanent place for that.

Catherine Avatar

I pluck every other day or so to keep my brows in shape, and get them threaded every once in a while (usually at least once or twice a year, after finals since upkeeping my brows falls to the wayside & I can’t manage to shape them myself ^^;;).

Regular tweezing and trimming.
I have a good basic shape and whenever stray hairs appear, I tweeze them. I keep long hairs at bay by trimming them with a small, pointy pair of nail scissors.
