How do you feel about nail art?

How do you feel about nail art? Love it? Hate it?

I wish I had more time to try my hand at it, and even if I found time, I would probably have to wish for more patience, too!

I actually just got done trying to do a nail design. My left hand looked great(I’m right handed) but my right looks like poo. Really frustrating. My left hand doesn’t like to cooperate with me….:(

In moderation, I like it. I always get a design on my big toes when I get a pedicure. If I get a gel set of nails done , then I get designs on 1 or 2 fingers on each hand- nail designs can quickly go from cute to ghetto looking. To me , nail designs look best on shorter nails( not nails that are so long they curve over)

Looks beautiful, but too lazy and not skilled enuf to make it myself, plus if I get it done by a professional, it doesn’t last long, so not really into it.

I LOVE nail art and watching nail art tutorials on YouTube. Ive never attempted anything fancier than nail stickers but i would love to get a Konad nail stamper and try it out. And maybe give water marbling a shot.

I always have 3D nail art, like rhinestones and nail stickers and plastic decos (strawberries, donuts, bows, etc) on my gel nails all the time. My nails are super long (1 inch) which makes me have lots of room for decorating. Atm I have on light green glitter with xmas stickers (snowmen, mistletoe, santa, lollipop, xmas tree, snowflake, wreath, candycane…) Just search up ‘japanese nails’ on google and it should make sense lol
As for nail art like painting and airbrush, I’m not so much a fan.

I respect others’ rights to express themselves but personally prefer a well manicured, polished nail without bling or design. It’s fun to see how creative people can be.

I like nail art on occassion and I like design on my own when I am not too lazy lol. But there are times I find them a bother since polishes dont really last more than a week on me

Hmmm it’s definitely not something I would do myself. Even when I get my gel nails done by a pro I always only get a French manicure and that’s it. I guess I like to keep it simple when it comes to nails.

Simple, flat nail art (like stickers, dots, stripes) on short to medium nails is cute, but 3D nail art on REALLY long nails is gross.

Besides, how can you move around in talons with random beads and rhinestones stuck to them?

I’ve never had my nails done professionally, but I have tried some simple designs and color combos and find it to be fun every now and then when I have some free time.
Nails are definitely super fun to experiment with.

just don’t like it.. don’t know why…
i paint my nails with a different colour at least twice a week.. and i LOOOOOVE nail polish (my fav. are OPI)!!.. but in my opinion nail art is just tooo much!

I wish I was good at it onmy own nails…unfortunately not. However, I do my sisters nails, and then it does look somewhat good. I love nail art, but it shouldn’t cross the line of tackiness. I love konad, makes nail art easy.

I like seeing nice nail art, but I have no interest in doing it. I have Horrible nail beds for nail art or fancy nail polish. Plus, i have tendinitis in both hands, so even doing two steady coats of polish is a challenge.

I love this question! Haha. In just the past few weeks I’ve gotten into nail art. Over the summer I used to change my polish everyday to match my outfits, but now that school has started again, it’s difficult to change it up that much. I’ll wear a single color for one or two days and then I’ll add a design over the top to change it up for a day, then I’ll start over with a new color. Girls (and guys!) always compliment my nails. I’m known as the “makeup and nail girl” at school. I don’t mind that title at all. (:

I LOVE nail art. It is fun and so pretty. It doesn’t have to be tacky. I got a Konad set this past summer with a few discs. It is great to add a bit of a fun look to my nails without paying for salon prices or submitting my poor nails to gels and acrylics.

I actually like Nail Art. I do have a Konad Stamping Kit as well, I usually only design on one nail per hand. My polish doesn’t chip or wear as easy it seems like, it’s just the growth of my nail that makes it necessary to change it.

i like it. in fact, i can not wear a color on its own since i discovered the nail polish world 🙂 i have a beauty blog, it is Turkish but you can see what i have done on “nail art” tag. right now i have pink cracking polish on a metallic purple, and it is gooooodd! 🙂

I agree that the right hand is totally hard to do. What I love to do thought, is use those nail art stickers you see in drugstores – they range from hearts and little puppies to really pretty intricate flower designs. I paint my nails and then carefully place one of those on each ring finger, set with clear polish and voila! Cute and non cheesy I swear! It actually looks hand painted 😛
