We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

The original Naked palette. Not all the colours are perfect but that concept – an all neutrals/every day sort of palette – THAT was made for me (and while Naked 2 and Smokey have colours I love more than some in the OG palette, that “made for me” feel is embodied in the OG Naked. And, of course, MAC CRAVING lipstick – there is no more perfect lippie for me that Craving!

Oh, there’s absolutely been quite a few! Newest? Natasha Denona Yucca palette. Oldest? My beloved now DC’d Essence Gel Liner in Midnight In Paris. Also, MAC Cosmo, Royally Riotous, and VG I lipsticks, UD Catfight Revolution lipstick, UD Jawbone bronzer (FINALLY something with some depth that wasn’t orange or funky looking!), Menagerie Cosmetics Flight Club and ND Lila and UD Naked 2palettes.

There are actually many things that felt just made for me. Estee Lauder Double Wear, not just the original foundation, but the entire line of products. MAC Diva lipstick, Harmony and Breath of Plum blushes, and Satin Taupe eyeshadow. The unappreciated, discontinued and forgotten Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette. The Benefit Gimme Brow from the old times, before they switched to the awful silver wand like packaging.

Yes! Laura Mercier Candleglow #1 Finishing Powder. I love it. I covet it and it’s been discontinued and replaced with a powder I can’t even begin to describe how not good it is. Thankfully I have backups to last many years. It makes my skin like a baby’s skin 🤍

The OG LORAC PRO palette! I still take that with me every time I travel and it’s seen better days by now but it just has everything for the couple standby looks I do — natural, smoky, a little sparkly. Including a nice black for eyeliner, a perfect sparkly grey, and a a couple light, sparkly shades for the inner corner! It works so well for me. I wish they still sold it.

Also, the MUFE ULTRA HD Invisible Cover Concealer, the one that came in a black tube, in what was probably the lightest color, R20. That thing has saved me so many times, ha! Especially on the plane when all the color seems to drain from my face. I haven’t tried the new one but I hope it works well, too. Kinda sad they switched to a doe-foot applicator since that’s going to be less hygienic for me.

Aw, both of my faves are no longer sold, ha. :/ If anyone knows of an ultra-light, neutral toned, medium-coverage concealer, I’d love to check it out!

There’s been a few makeup products that I think have been made for me:
Lipsticks: Maybelline’s Spice For Me, CP’s Foolish and Milani’s Cinnamon Spice (sadly d/c)
Eyeshadow Palettes: ABH’s Sultry, ND’s Glam, Lorac’s Noir and of course, UD’s Naked 1
For colourful eye palettes – Dior’s Bonne Etoile.

Victoria Beckham’s beauty line really fits the bill for me. Especially her eyeliner, highlighter and bronzer just work superbly wrt textures, shades, longevity and my general expectations for holy grail products, which is why it almost feels like they have been made for me 😃.

ND Glam Face and Eye in Light, CT Pillowtalk Instant Eye Palette, PT Major Dimension Eyeshadow Palette, PML Ritualistic Rose quad. Can you tell I love neutrals and pinks?
