Guest Look -- Charlene Shares Her Pink and Purple Eye
Charlene tells us what she used…
I used gold pigment from a brand I’m not sure of, for the inner eye corner (tear drop), a hot pink eyeshadow from my pallette with 88 colors on the lid and blended with the Milani storm eyeshadow that I used on the outer lid. I used the same gold pigment for the brow bone and blended downwards into the pink and black. I used MAC 3D lipglass in Wondershine. I used Tarte -Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara to complete the look.
See a closed-eye shot,
I like the brightness of Milani eyeshadow – it’s even better than some of the more expensive drug store brands – except that every Milani eyeshadow I’ve purchased has crumbled very easily. Is there another affordable brand that gives the same sort of effect, yet doesn’t fall apart?
I recommend NYX. = )
Well, the black (that when blended with the pink makes purple) that i used for the outer corner is the milani. It’s my favourite black..prob cuz i don’t have the MAC e/s in Carbon haha… not sure if you were thinking the pink was what was Milani? The pink I got from a pallette with 88 colors on ebay!! It is pretty bright…I can’t remember if i had my urban decay primer potion then…so I can’t remember if that’s how it looked primed or bare. But none of my Milani Shadows have crumbled…what are u doing with them? haha 🙂 Maybe another brand could be Loreal HIP eyeshadows? I’m not an NYX fan really…but you might want to try them too? Hope this helps. Maybe Christine can give us her two cents 🙂
I love pink eyes on darker skin tones… I’m white, white, white irish – so I feel like every time I wear bubble gum pink, I emulate Paris Hilton… And I don’t wanna do that. =X
But it looks AMAZING on her gorgeous carmel skin.
xoxo.
