I’ve got a feeling that I will fall for the Goldenland Meteorite Pearls! Looks like it will add a hint of rosiness to my complexion, too.
This combination of pearls looks like it was made for neutral, olive undertones. It’s very different from the usual annual offering and my guess is that it will be very popular.
They look like they’d be perfect for you!
I’m looking so hard at those too.
I totally agree with Nancy T. My choice for sure.
Oh my – I let out a little gasp when I saw the palette and the Meteorite pearls (I don’t know that they’d be great ones for my skin tone but those deep burgundy balls and the overall look is so nice – I’d like a necklace like that! The eye palette looks nice, though nothing really special. And maybe it’s a result of all the really expensive palettes out there now but the price – especially considering it’s Guerlain – doesn’t seem “that” unpalatable (if you’ll pardon the pun/play on words).
The Gold Meteorites and the gold highlighter look like they’d be pretty on my complexion! I love Meteorite pearls but they are sometimes too light/ashy on me. I’m excited to see the swatches!
Maybe it looks better swatched and the different finishes play a huge role, but on the face of it, that palette has the most boring selection of eyeshadows I’ve seen in a long time. Although they did include a deep shade and a couple brow bone highlights, so kudos for that.
I have a feeling the pearls and highlighter would be too dark for me, but they look pretty.
I will be getting the Perles, of course. I learned my lesson when I didn’t buy the holiday offering from 2015? I think it was that year anyway, I should remember because I didn’t pick them up and had to get them on the secondary market and it cost me an arm and a leg. These likely will be too light to use all over but I have been able to use other darker blends for blush/bronzer. This looks like it would be a great blush for me. I will await reviews on the palette as it doesn’t appear to be anything special.
First time I’ve seen Meteorite Pearls that I actually like the color combo of. I won’t be getting them — this is the highly scented product, yes?
It will be very interesting to see how Guerlain’s newest eye palette holds up against some fierce competition in the golden stakes. The brand has released some pretty poor offering in their eye shadow range of late, so I am hoping that this offering restores the brand’s reputation. I do like the shades and I am hoping that they aren’t too wishy washy.
I too would love to see a review of this palette. Christine, if possible, please add it to your list of holiday releases to weigh on! I know it may read “basic” to some but it looks like a perfect travel one for me so I hope it does well!
I’m actually a little excited to see a new palette that is on the more subdued side. There are so many complex, creative and fiery warm “color stories” out there, which is great, but it’s been a while since I’ve seen a truly beautiful and high quality one-stop “basic” palette. Hope this swatches well!
Guerlain’s packaging is so beautiful and I don’t care that their meteorites balls are just talc, I want it!
Aren’t the meteorites almost exactly the same as the Electric ones? Easy pass.
So torn about the Meteorites. I have the lightest ones and use those every now and then. These look so gorgeous, but I’m so pale with cool skin tones. Has anyone swatched or tried these to know how it would play out on extremely fair and cool skin?
